Do you require a deposit to rent a vehicle?
Yes. Your deposit type, amount and method of payment will vary by agreement type.
What should I do if I'm involved in an accident or the car is damaged during my rental?
If you have an accident, do not leave the scene of the accident. Contact the police. If no one was hurt and vehicle damage is minor, drivers are recommended to move their vehicles to the side of the road to avoid blocking traffic. Otherwise, the vehicles should not be moved. Obtain the report from police and submit it to UPTOWN RENT A CAR.
What should I do if I have problems with my car? Do you offer roadside assistance?
Before you start driving, take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the vehicle’s equipment and operation, including heat and A/C, radio, lights, windshield wipers, spare tire, seat belts and door locks, and gas tank access. Getting distracted trying to figure out those things while driving can be dangerous. Don’t wait until the fuel warning light goes on to think about buying gas, especially if you don’t know how far it is between gas stations. In case if you have problems with our rental car, you may contact our Sales Department. If there are minor issues which can be fixed on the stop, we will send our operations team for assistance. If, in the unlikely event that your car malfunction, contact our sales department for assistance or car replacement. Do not leave your vehicle. Wait in the car for service or the police to arrive.
Is smoking permitted in rental cars?
We do not encourage our client to smoke either in cars or outside cars.
