No, all visitors who want to wear masks must bring their own.
Do you have a coat or bag check?
Our coat/bag check is temporarily unavailable, so pack lightly for your visit! Please leave large bags, backpacks, and other items bigger than 11 x 17 x 8 inches at home or in the car. Visitors with babies should bring baby supplies in bags smaller than 11 x 17 x 8 in. If you have a backpack that’s smaller than 11 x 17 x 8 in., you must wear it on the front of your body during your visit to keep the artwork safe.

Yes! Can I bring a baby stroller? Can I feed my baby inside the museum?
Yes! Standard strollers are welcome, and baby bottles are permitted in the galleries (but please note, no other food or drink is allowed in the museum). Please bring your baby supplies in bags smaller than 11 x 17 x 8 in. Baby changing tables are available in a single or family use restroom and the women’s restroom on Level 1.
I have kids coming with me. What is available for them?
We have a new family guide available on our mobile museum guide (no download required) with activities for kids and adults to do together. The mobile museum guide also has a free kid’s audio tour featuring LeVar Burton (host of the children’s educational program, Reading Rainbow), which encourages young art lovers to look, listen, and learn. Can I bring my food and drinks into the museum?
We’re sorry—food and beverages aren’t allowed inside the museum. Please leave food and beverage items in the car or at home or dispose of them in a trash can outside of the museum.
Do you have water fountains available inside the museum?
Yes, they are located on the first and second floors near the restrooms.

Can I bring my service animal into The Broad?
The Broad is committed to welcoming a wide and diverse audience, including those assisted by trained service animals. The Broad complies with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), which defines service animals as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. The Broad allows service dogs in all public areas of the museum. The Broad does not allow Emotional Support Animals (ESA) inside the museum. Emotional Support Animals, Comfort Animals, or Therapy Animals which provide comfort do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. The following questions may be asked of each visitor with a service dog: Is the service dog required because of a disability? What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? If the dog is out of control or not housebroken, the handler will be asked to remove the dog from the museum.
Is The Shop at The Broad open?
Yes! The Shop is open the same hours as the museum. We hope you’ll stop by The Shop and take home something special to remind you of your visit to The Broad. You can also shop anytime online at shop.thebroad.org.
Can I take photos or sketch?
You are welcome to take photographs and smart phone video for personal use only, unless signage indicates that no photography is allowed. Drawing with pencil in the galleries is also permitted with sketchbooks no larger than 11 x 7 inches. The Broad does NOT permit photo or film shoots for commercial or promotional purposes. We do not permit flash photography or video lighting at any time, monopods, tripods, video cameras, easels, or selfie sticks.
What are The Broad’s hours?
The Broad has temporarily adopted new hours: Closed Monday and Tuesday Open Wednesday–Friday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
I didn’t book my tickets online. Can I join your standby line for walk-up entry to the museum?
We’re sorry, but for now, we are requiring advance ticket reservations to visit The Broad since we’re limiting visitor capacity inside the museum. The Broad’s standby line is temporarily unavailable for walk-up entry to the museum.
I’m running late. Will I still be able to enter the museum?
Don’t worry! Visitors with tickets for free general admission or paid special exhibitions can enter the museum up to 1 hour after the time printed on your ticket. Please note that we stop admitting visitors 30 minutes before the museum closes at 5 p.m. Late arrivals may experience a wait time if the museum is at full capacity. However, visitors with a ticket for "Infinity Mirrored Room + General Admission" are advised to arrive on time. Entry into Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room is only guaranteed within 10 minutes of your ticketed time.

How much do tickets cost?
General admission to The Broad is always free! Some special exhibitions carry a separate charge.
How do timed tickets work?
Tickets have entry times beginning every 15 minutes. You must arrive within 1 hour of your ticketed time (i.e. arrive by 1 p.m. for a 2 p.m. ticket). Entry for general admission and special exhibitions is not guaranteed if you arrive more than 1 hour after your ticketed time. Entry for visitors with tickets to see Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room is only guaranteed within the first 10 minutes of your ticketed time. Early entry is not allowed (visitors will be admitted into the museum at the time printed on their ticket).

How many tickets can I reserve at a time?
You can reserve up to 6 “General Admission” tickets at a time. “Infinity Mirrored Room + General Admission” tickets that include access to Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room are limited to 4 tickets per group.
Does my child need a ticket?
Yes, please book a ticket for each child who can walk. Children who will be in a stroller or who will be carried do not need a ticket. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by a guardian.
All of my tickets have my name on them. Can my friend use the ticket with my name?
Yes, it is not a problem for a different person to use a general admission ticket with your name if you will be checking in separately. Ticketing issues or questions?
