Where can I park?
The Pier parking deck is closed, but the “beach lot” at 1550 Appian Way (Lot 1 North) is open! You can also park at the Downtown Public Parking Structures or Beach Lot 4-South (Bicknell and Ocean). Guests are encouraged to take public transportation, bikes, rideshare or park at the Downtown Santa Monica lots.
What can I do at the Santa Monica Pier?

Accessible Parking, Elevators, and Ramps?
Accessible parking can be found in Beach Lot 1 North. These spaces are nearby the publicly accessible elevator located at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, 301 Santa Monica Pier. The elevator is available to the general public during the restaurant's operating hours, and is not exclusive to their customers. Accessible parking is also permitted at Lot 1-S 1640 Appian way. These spaces are near the wheel-chair accessible ramps via the eastern side of the Pier. Posted parking rates apply to all lots.
I am a street performer or interested in being a street performer – where do I go for the lottery? Can I perform on the Santa Monica Pier?

I am a Pier vendor, cart operator, or employee – where do I go?
All deliveries and employees must enter the Pier from Ocean Front Walk next to the Heal the Bay Aquarium. Be prepared to show proof of employment at the pier including an employee ID or uniform. Vendors and delivery personnel may be required to show a work order or bill of laden. If you have questions, you should call your employer or the business you are trying to reach.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes friendly doggos on leash are welcome on the Pier, but not on the beach. Please clean up after fido!
Can I smoke on the Pier?
Don’t even think about it! D: We really like our 100 year-old wooden Pier and want to see it here for another 100+ years.
Where’s the Aquarium?
It’s true - we have one! And it's awesome. Heal The Bay Aquarium is currently open Thursday-Sunday from 12pm-4pm

Do you have lockers for rent?
There are no lockers or personal storage space on the Pier.

How far is the Pier from LAX?
We are about 9miles/14.5km away from LAX. Depending on traffic conditions (which are famously unfavorable - it’s LA!), it would be a 30-45 minute drive.
How far is the Pier from the 3rd Street Promenade?
Our buddies at 3rd Street are about a 10 minute walk away!
