Museum

Casa Batlló is a famous building in Barcelona, Spain, located in the heart of the city on Passeig de Gracia. It is one of the most famous examples of Modernist architecture, designed by the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The building was originally built in 1877, but it was redesigned and renovated by Gaudí between 1904 and 1906.

The building is known for its stunning facade, which is covered in colorful tiles and undulating curves. The design of the facade is said to have been inspired by the ocean, with the tiles representing the scales of a fish and the balcony railings shaped like seaweed.

Inside, the building is just as unique, with flowing lines and curves throughout. Gaudí designed the interior with light and space in mind, creating a bright and airy environment that is in stark contrast to the dark, cramped buildings that were typical of the time.

Visitors to Casa Batlló can explore the building’s many unique features, including the stunning skylights, the colorful stained glass windows, and the famous dragon on the roof. The building is also home to a museum, which displays furniture and decorative objects designed by Gaudí himself.

One of the most popular features of Casa Batlló is the rooftop terrace, which offers stunning views of the city. The terrace is home to a sculpture garden and is the perfect place to relax and take in the sights and sounds of Barcelona.
