GoCar Barcelona
GoCar Barcelona is a unique sightseeing experience that allows visitors to explore the city at their own pace. GoCars are small, open-air, three-wheeled vehicles that are equipped with a GPS navigation system, pre-programmed with a choice of routes through the city.
The GPS system offers an audio guide, pointing out the city’s most iconic landmarks and attractions as the car drives past them. Visitors can choose from a variety of routes, including the Gothic Quarter, the beach, or the Montjuïc area.
One of the advantages of GoCar is that visitors can stop wherever they like to take photos or explore different areas of the city. The vehicle can be parked in any designated parking spot, allowing visitors to visit sights on foot or by public transport, and pick up the car again later.
To rent a GoCar, visitors must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license. GoCar Barcelona also provides helmets and free rain ponchos to ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers.
In addition to being a unique way to explore the city, GoCar Barcelona is also an eco-friendly option for sightseeing. The cars are electric and produce zero emissions, making them a great choice for visitors who want to reduce their carbon footprint while traveling.

WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE A GOCAR TOUR?
You need: to be at least 21 years old hold a valid driving license have a creditcard or cash for the security deposit (300€ per car)
WHAT INSURANCE COVER COMES WITH A GOCAR?
All our vehicles have 3rd Party Insurance as standard. This means you are covered for any damage made to other vehicles.
WHY A GOCAR?
GoCar is the world’s first GPS-guided storytelling car. Our custom navigation system guides you around Barcelona and the car talks to you, telling you all about the city. You can explore parts of Barcelona the tour bus cant reach and you will look cool doing it!
DO YOU HAVE TO STAY ON THE TOUR?
You can go FREESTYLE if you want to, no problem. But the car only talks on the designated routes.
WHICH LANGUAGES ARE AVAILABLE?
English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan and Russian
CAN CHILDREN RIDE IN A GOCAR?
The minimum age to be a passenger is 7yrs.
CAN I CANCEL MY RESERVATION?
Yes of course. Our Terms & Conditions state: Cancellation up to 24 hours before departure time. Refund, minus 20€ cancellation fee per GoCar. Cancellation within 24 hours before departure time. No refund. Note: Under exceptional circumstances our shop managers have the authority to alter the above.
WHAT IS A ‘VALID’ DRIVING LICENSE?

CAN I BUY FULL INSURANCE COVER FOR A GOCAR?
We are unable to offer full insurance cover in Spain. However our GoCar Insurance limits your financial responsibility to just the 300€ deposit.
HOW LONG DOES THE TOUR TAKE?
Our three most popular tours (Gaudi/Experience/Beach&Shopping) are 3 hours long, of which approximately 2½ hours is driving time. There is a quick one hour tour where you cannot stop, but the best value is our Full Day Tour, which is a minimum if 5 hours but gives you up to 10 hours (summer) to enjoy the whole city.
WHAT IF I ARRIVE BACK LATE?
If you are a little bit over time, don’t worry because we wont and if you want to stay out longer we only charge the extra time (by hour) up to our max price of 69€ per person.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT IN A GOCAR?
maximum of 2 people are able to ride in the vehicle.
WHAT IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF MY BOOKING?
It is fine to drive a GoCar in the rain, but we can re-schedule your tour for another day or time. If weather conditions are extreme and you have no flexibility with regards to time, we can make a refund.
