We are a family-owned and operated company that specializes in providing boat tours and canal cruises in Amsterdam. Our canal boat is a small, modern, electric, and silent vessel that offers a comfortable and intimate experience for our guests.
Captain Jamie, our passionate and experienced captain, turned his love for cruising through Amsterdam’s canals into a profession in the spring of 2018 when we received the official canal cruise permit, allowing us to take a maximum of 12 people on board. Our boat tours, canal cruises, and adventures take visitors through the magnificent canals of Amsterdam. We specialize in cruising through the smaller canals that are inaccessible to larger boats. Our friendly captain and guide will take you on an adventure through unique and tiny waterways, showing you the crooked old buildings, lovely bridges, and providing tips on how to make the most out of your visit to Amsterdam.
We also offer exclusive private boat tours for a more custom-made experience. Reservations for our canal cruises are open from March to the end of December, and we encourage interested visitors to contact us for more information on our incredible Amsterdam boat adventures.
One of our most popular boat tours is the Amsterdam Boat Tour, where we cruise through the oldest part of Amsterdam, known as the Red Light District. During this tour, we explore the city’s eastern center, passing by one of Amsterdam’s tiniest houses and the historical building De Waag on the Nieuwmarkt. We also cruise along the Eastern Docklands and harbor area, where we see the elegant replica VOC ship at the Maritime Museum and modern architecture at Nemo.
The tour continues through the peaceful and green Plantage area, where we see Windmill “De Gooyer” and cruise along Entrepotdok with beautiful old warehouses, houseboats, and the Artis Zoo. We then explore some of the famous UNESCO heritage canal belt, where we cruise along the Herengracht with many majestic merchant’s houses. We also experience the picturesque Reguliersgracht, also known as the “Seven Bridges Canal,” which offers one of the city’s most stunning views. The tour ends with the Prinsengracht, where we head back to the Amstel river, providing an opportunity to see fantastic houseboats and the famous bridges, Magerebrug (skinny bridge) and Blauwbrug, as well as the popular “dancing houses.” On this boat trip, we also explore the delightful and tiny canal of the Kromboomsloot.

Do I need to pre-purchase a ticket for the boat tours or can I just show up?
We highly recommend making a pre-booking through our websites booking system. Alternatively you can also call to make a reservation and then pay for the boat tour in cash or by card on the boat.
What time should I be at the meeting-point?
We recommend to be there 10 minutes before departure!
What happens if we are late for the boat tour?
The public tours sail on time, so if you are late your booking is unfortuantely void. Please check the date/time listed on your confirmation e-mail carefully; it is your responsibility to keep this appointment. Full price will be charged for no-shows.
Do you sell drinks on the boat?
Yes we sell cold drinks onboard. A small can of beer cost € 2,- A large can of beer cost € 3,- Glass of white or rose wine cost €3,- Softdrinks and bottles of water cost € 2,-
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes you can. However we also sell reasonably priced beer, wine, soft drinks and water on board.
Is there a toilet on board?
No, we don’t have a toilet onboard. So we recommend to go to the toilet before you hop on board. In case of an emergency we can stop at a public toilet or bar.
Can I bring my dog along for the boat cruise?
Yes, we love dogs and friendly dogs are always welcome onboard.
