Amsterdam Magic Show
Come and experience an enchanting evening of magic and illusions with our ensemble of magicians and illusionists from across Europe. Our roaring 20’s era theater provides the perfect ambiance for a magical ride that will make you forget the world outside for one crazy night. Each show is unique, as we invite the best international and comedy acts to perform with us. So, step into our magical world of ‘Huh’ and have an unforgettable evening of entertainment with your friends, loved ones, or even by yourself.
Our show is aimed for adults, but kids are welcome. The show is generally appropriate for children, and if they have some interest in magic, can sit still for around two hours, and stay up after 22:00, they will probably love it. However, as the show is aimed towards adults, we do not offer reduced price tickets for kids. Please note that we cannot guarantee there will not be the occasional swear word from a performer, so if you are extremely sensitive to such things, it may not be the show for you.
Each show features guest magicians from all over the world, so you never know who you will see on our stage. We have welcomed national, international and world champions of magic from countries such as China, Singapore, USA, UK, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, South Africa, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Belgium and more. We guarantee they will be the best of the best, and each show will be different and unique.
Arthur Gerards is a magician who performs his act under the guise of an actor, and his act will blow you away. He’s the Master of Levitation & Disappearance. So if there is anybody you don’t like, just bring him or her along to the show. By the way, the bunny never got hurt.
Fritz with a Z is an award-winning magician who has appeared on numerous TV shows worldwide and has been mentioned in loads of magic publications. He will leave you in awe with his sleight of hand and surefire comedy.
Zippo Guo originally hails from China and used to work as an engineer. Combining magic with dance, he has won several international prizes with his original act. In 2021, he took a big step and resigned from an international company to start mime study in the Amsterdam University of Arts to become a full-time artist.
Aljaz Son will spice up your magical night even before the show has started. Cards will vanish and reappear, balls will turn into cubes and coins will penetrate solid glass. And he’s awesome with rubber things too. (And no, we’re not talking about that kind of rubber.)

Is the show in English or in Dutch?
The entire show is in English.
Is the show suitable for kids?
The show is aimed for adults but kids are welcome. There is generally nothing inappropriate and if your kids can sit still for ~2 hours, stay up after 22:00 and have some interest in magic they will probably love it. Because the show is aimed towards adults we do not offer reduced price tickets for kids. P.S.: We can’t guarantee there will not be the occasional “swear” from a performer. If you are extremely sensitive to such things, don’t come.
Is the Amsterdam Magic Show accessible for wheelchairs?
Unfortunately, our show is up two flights of stairs and not easily accessible for wheelchairs. However, we have the occasional XL show in the ground floor theater of Boom Chicago. If you want to be informed on when we have an XL show, either follow us on Facebook/Instagram or sign up for our newsletter.

Do I need to print out my ticket?
No. We have an electronic scanner, so if you have your ticket on your phone that’s absolutely fine.
I cannot make it to the show, can I transfer the ticket to somebody else?
Absolutely, just email your ticket to whoever you want to give it to and let this person bring the ticket to the show… on their phone or printed out.
Do you have other events besides the normal show?
Yes, we do! We regularly perform on location at corporate and private events or perform the Amsterdam Zoom Magic Show. You can hire one performer, the entire show or anything in between. We can even customise a show to your event. We also host the occasional magic dinner show. Please email us hi@amsterdam-magic.com at for more details of how we can help to make your event memorable.
