OVERVIEW:
Emirates is a luxury five-star hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates operated by Mandarin Oriental from January 1, 2020. The hotel project was launched in December 2001. and was originally run by Kempinski from early November 2005 to January 1, 2005. 2020. Due to a change of administration, the palace will be renovated within two years, after which it will be redeveloped into Mandarin Oriental property.

The beautiful hotel building is spread over an area of 100 hectares, accommodating all kinds of luxury for guests. WHY EMIRATES PALACE THE BEST HOTEL IN THE WORLD:

The Emirates Palace Hotel is the second seven-star hotel in the world, and the other Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The palace opened its doors in 2005, and has 394 luxury rooms and guest lodges coming to Abu Dhabi. Some of the most common items at the royal Emirates Palace. Indeed, the upper house of the hotel contains six Ruler Suites, designed to accommodate rulers, such as the various Emirates Sheikhs forming the UAE. The smallest room in the hotel is 110 square feet (1,184 square feet).
One of the most distinctive features of the hotel is the dome in its atrium. The 60-foot-high (197 m) dome is the largest in the world, and the most impressive part of it is the 22-carat gold leaf covering its interior, which provides comfort and richness.
FEATURES OF EMIRATES PALACE:
The Emirates Palace Hotel is housed in the 1,000ha of a well-planned park with palm trees and springs, artfully depicting various desert areas. There is a 1.3km private beach installed at the hotel. The exterior buildings have 114 impressive houses that rise to 60m and sparkle in the sun, resembling pure gold.
The hotel has a total floor area of 850,000m², with western and eastern wings comprising guest rooms. Traditionally decorated inside the hotel, dominated by gold and marble combined with modern technology. Four restaurants, three bars, lounges and fine restaurants offer a variety of food and cooking delights – a total of 20 restaurants in the hotel.
EMIRATES PALACE ACCOMMODATION:
Emirates Palace has 302 large rooms and 92 suits. The guest rooms include 20 Khaleej suites (110m²), Khaleej deluxe suites (165m²), Royal Khaleej suites (110m²) and three-room palace suites (680m²). There are three types of Palace suites: Coral (110m²), Pearl (140m²) and Diamond (220m²). The Royal Suits can be divided into 48 single bedroom suits. All beautiful spacious rooms are provided with high levels of comfort and decorated with warm tones to create a welcoming atmosphere.
The Emirates Palace is also the official guest house in the Abu Dhabi government, with 22 suites with three bedrooms capable of accommodating many of the state heads and their incentives. The highest floor has suits of six rulers, which are boundless by all except members of the UAE royal family.
LUXURY FEATURES:
Emirates Palace also has luxury items such as ‘bath caviar’; Cognac $ 15,000; Kobe beef at its Japanese restaurant in Mizona; real albino caviar (only 6kg is produced annually for £ 30,000 per kilo, while the hotel weighs two kilograms); with 52in plasma screens in each room; and a 61in LCD in all suites with a touchpad that controls resources, from a fan to alarm systems. Rooms are priced from $ 5,989 to $ 12,251 per night.
The hotel also includes the Anantara spa, which has seven treatments. The hotel has a 1.3km private beach, which offers water sports and recreation and leisure.
MEETING AND CONFERENCE FACILITIES:
The Emirates Palace has a 7,000m semi conference and conference space, with facilities including a 20m 20-seat hall with a seating capacity of about 1,100, a large ballroom with a seating capacity of about 2,400, 40 meeting rooms with various facilities, and 10,000 m² external work area.
The hotel also has a news and business center. All meeting rooms are equipped with sophisticated visual equipment.
FOOD AT EMIRATES PALACE:
The hotel has several restaurants and bars. The restaurant Le Vendome Brasserie, located on the fourth floor of the hotel, offers buffet overseas. The Sayad restaurant is on the first floor of the hotel and offers seafood dishes. The Mezzaluna restaurant, located on the first floor, offers an Italian menu. Hakkasan is a star-studded Chinese restaurant.
Anar Restaurant offers regional cuisine. Las Brisas is an open-air restaurant located in the East Wing Relaxation Dam and offers salads and fried foods. Etoiles Abu Dhabi offers a combination of fine dining and nightly entertainment.
EMIRATES PALACE ATRIUM:
The Emirates Palace atrium is 60m high, 42m wide and has the largest dome in the world. It is adorned with 13 marble colors, from sunrise to sunset – to show off a variety of desert colors. A 22-carat leaf of gold covers the interior of the dome, making it the largest space created in a single building.
CONSTRUCTION:
Construction of the Emirates Palace began in December 2001. More than 250,000m³ of concrete has been used, and it took an estimated 20,000 people three years to complete all stages of construction. The owner of the hotel is the Abu Dhabi Municipality.
The project architect was Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo. Construction was carried out by Arabian Construction Company (ACC), Arabien Construction, Belhasa Construction and Actor Electromech. Project management was the work of Projacs and Turner Construction. Lighting arrangements were made by Wimberley, Allison, Tong & Goo and the DEPA team, and the lights were provided by Bin Moosa Debbas.
Control gear provided by TridonicAtco. Al Naesar Trading, a local Fischer partner, introduced the work anchor, roofing anchor, bolt anchor and construction nails. All the stairs in the building are built by FitWell.
LIGHTING SYSTEMS:
Lighting Emirates Palace was designed by Wimberly, Allison, Tong & Goo. Beautiful candles, floor lamps and table lamps are used in guest rooms and suites to create fresh air, and the corridors and stairs are illuminated by functional lamps.
As well as design considerations, a major factor in choosing to light up its new technology. The use of compact fluorescent lamps and PC PRO gear control from TridonicAtco ensures long lamp life and energy efficiency.
The lights were provided by Bin Moosa Debbas / Emirates Lighting, a valued customer of Atco Controls Dubai who provided the PC PRO control gear.
An additional 3,500 PC PRO units were installed from TridonicAtco with tubular fluorescent lamps in offices, kitchens and garages.
ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES:
The design of the hotel incorporates the beauty of Arabian traditional objects such as the 42m wide Grand Atrium dome finished with silver and gold tiles and fitted with a 20kg solid gold finish. The color reflects russet, orange, and shades of desert yellow. The building is 1km long and includes the following:
• 114 houses, Grand Atrium above St Peter’s Basilica in Rome
• The Emirates Palace Archway, which is covered with Italian stone and larger than the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and has a museum
• 1,002 Swarovski crystal chandeliers, including some of the world’s largest
• more than 1 billion square meters of marble, imported from Italy, Spain, China, and India
• 200 springs of over 600 hectares of exotic park grounds, home to more than 8,000 trees, and a private hotel reserve
• 128 kitchens and 140 cakes and elevators
• total site area of more than 222.4 hectares.
Throughout the palace, roses abound: in rooms, in public areas, in private areas – another 20,000 are used daily. Two wide, well-organized pools were located on the grounds, and two spas were opened in mid-2006.
