Warehouse421 is a home-grown arts and design center dedicated to showcasing and enhancing creative production from across the region. Working in partnership with local, regional, and international organizations, we seek to assist in the development of the UAE’s creative program through study, research, and commissions.
Committed to supporting emerging talent from the UAE and the Middle East and South Asia, Warehouse421 takes a collaborative approach in hosting and reducing exhibitions, introducing and integrating local and regional research ideas and cultural practices in the area of disciplinary action. Warehouse421 hosts a wide range of community programs and learning opportunities that support creative practices, art exchange and revitalize critical speech.

A wonderful cultural and exhibition space in the Abu Dhabi harbor of Mina Zayed, Warehouse421 takes its name from the original archives of the area which have now been transformed into a platform for artistic expression and the development of the UAE art community. As the first exhibition space in the capital, Warehouse421 showcases a range of galleries and art galleries, placing a major genre in the city.
Focused on the principles of sustainability and the creation of dynamic diverse audience spaces, Warehouse421 continues to commemorate the work of regional artists and designers, and promotes public discourse, engagement and artistic development through a variety of art forms.
Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation supports the future investment program of Warehouse421 in the UAE, develops and supports strategic programs in the areas of arts, culture and heritage, education and health. Warehouse421 workshops and programs are priced individually.
Warehouse 421 is also open to the public with new looks and new attractions and events to check out. Go to this place in the next few months to hold shows, go to a movie review and join a series of workshops. Starting Saturday, January 30 and Sunday March 21, Float, a show from Stephanie Comilang contains two films focusing on the lives of Filipino overseas workers. Lumapit Sa Akin, Paraiso follows the three Filipinos in Hong Kong and the Diaspora Ad Astra follows the flight of Filipino sailors separated from the sea by the COVID-19 epidemic. On Tuesday February 2, Stephanie will also be talking about her work through live streaming from 7 p.m. Back with a new show this year, the 100 Best Arabic Posters are back until Thursday, April 29 to showcase the leading work of artists in the UAE and across the region.
Another show to check out is Mina Zayed: Reflections on Past Futures, which runs from Saturday January 30 to Sunday June 13, which records the history of Mina Zayed with the work of 11 photographers including Fatema Al Fardan, Lateefa Almazrooei, Lena Kassicieh, Lara Rudar, Maryam Al Huraiz and Sandra Zarn. On Tuesday February 16, the Artist Talks program will re-start with four artists, Catherine Donaldson, Lateefa Almazrooei, Mazna Almazrouei, and Fatema Al Fardan, who will talk about their work on display in the cultural space.
To help you learn new skills and become creative, there will also be workshops between January and March including masking, 3D makeup and more. Finally, helping to share film love with the public, Cinema Akil will be showing films at the venue in the next few months. Outdoor screenings, which is subject to strict safety guidelines, will be announced in the coming weeks and tickets will be limited to ensure safe public improvements.
GALLERY 421:
was opened in 2015 as a cultural center that promotes artistic expression and supports psychological processes of understanding, in order to develop an artistic community in the United Arab Emirates. It has been transformed into a repository in Port Zayed in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi into a center of art, culture, design, art, work, and music, finding works by local and international artists and artists.
The purpose of Gallery 421 is to contribute to community dialogue, collaboration, and the promotion of arts organizations in the country, through cultural programs and art projects. Gallery421 aims to be a platform that hosts a series of art exhibitions and works of art, in addition to expanding distances to create access to all parts of Abu Dhabi.
The Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation is looking at the transformation of Gallery 421, as part of its founding goals to support the arts and culture of the United Arab Emirates. Warehouse421, launched in 2015, is a cultural space that promotes artistic discourses and supports understanding processes, in order to strengthen the creative UAE community. It is a stage for arts and culture, design and art, works and music, from UAE-based artists, artists, and cultural practitioners.
Visitors can receive a variety of recipes, through cultural programs and art projects. Warehouse421 hosts the work of emerging artists, celebrates the artistic display of local communities, examines the ongoing transformation of the UAE, examines the complexities and beauty of the Emirati, visual and intangible, and brings new exhibitions and artists to not only feature a variety of works of art but also contribute to the discourse of society, in collaboration and in the development of society. From its location that connects industrial and coastal histories, it aims to be an exhibition space that organizes exhibitions and exhibitions with artists, supports creative production, and sets up a wide range of expression throughout the city.
WEDNESDAYS AT THE WAREHOUSE:
Most of the workshops, film screenings, lectures and games held at Warehouse421 are sponsored by exhibitions and are organized as part of the “Wednesday Warehouse” program. The two-week series aims to support emerging and cultural artists, and contribute to the enrichment of the arts scene while opening up new opportunities for public participation in the Abu Dhabi arts and culture area.
