Al-Ain Zoo and “Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort” or just “Al Ain Wildlife Park” is a 400-hectare (990-acre) zoo located in the Jebel Hafeet Mountains in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is mainly composed of ungulates and herbivores such as Arabian antelopes and oryx, eland, gazelle, lechwe and is found in shady trees that provide breeding conditions that were considered excellent. As the Breeding Center for Endangered Wildlife in the Emirate of Sharjah, now closed to the public, is a member of EAZA.

HISTORY AND ANIMALS:
The zoo was founded in 1968 by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the late Abu Dhabi Governor and President of the United Arab Emirates, out of concern for the world’s wildlife, especially ungulates such as the Arabian oryx.
The zoo features a large cat house. Lions, cougars, jaguars, and black and spotted leopards are found here. In addition to this, it also has a reptile house, combinations of monkeys, aquarium, and aviary. From February 2010 to July 2010, Al Ain Zoo hosted the “Dinosaur Trail”, a small section that includes 15 to 20 dinosaurs with sensors like the Tyrannosaurus rex, and information about the dinosaur as they live, parts of the world ( current) would have been found, and their height and diet, for example.

There are plenty of green picnic areas and playgrounds, a restaurant, and a train ride in the wildlife area. Feeding the giraffe, camel rides and the ‘Eeziba’ zoo are the latest collaborative activities. Visitors can enjoy feeding giraffes such as carrots or lettuce five times a day in a special place. Designed in the style of a local farm, the ‘Eeziba’ zoo will allow families to eat and play with sheep, goats, camels, llamas, chicken, and ducks, to enjoy a camel ride or a picnic in a designated area. A fun-filled learning scheme, designed to inspire children with a love of biodiversity, this beautiful garden of plants. The garden includes a rolling hill, mixed playgrounds, picnic areas, flower gardens and orchards of native and native UAE species, a reclaimed garden, and a vegetable, orchard, and vegetable garden. Starting in April 2019, the zoo is preparing for an expansion of activity on its ongoing perimeters to create new facilities such as a breeding and breeding ground, African Safari, the World Desert Zoo, and the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Center.

Al-Ain Safari Tour:
We have a number of independent Safari SUV tour destinations available daily. Each SUV can accommodate up to 6 people and the journey takes about an hour. If you have children under the age of three you are encouraged to use a child seat. Please ask for help in your Safari Guide.
We offer plenty of space for regular Safari truck tours. Each truck can accommodate up to 22 people. The journey takes about 45 minutes. This trip is not suitable for children under 5 years old.
