Developed by Aldar and designed by Foster & Partners, World Trade Center Mall opened its customer doors in 2014. The building is located on 12 acres of land in the old capital market that has now been renovated. The WTC Mall Abu Dhabi is also unique in its interior – with a combination of wood and Asian decoration – unlike any other shopping destination in the UAE. It is part of a modern complex that includes Courtyard By Marriot, an office tower, and Burj Mohammed bin Rashid, the tallest building in Abu Dhabi. There are five floors on the ground floor. Upstairs is the home of ‘The Hub’, a popular restaurant and nightlife in the mountains.
