ABOUT
Dasman is a peaceful community in Sharjah. The area is part of Halwan Suburb, sharing its boundaries with E11 Sharjah and highways such as Sheikh Zayed Street and Sheikh Rashid Bin Saqr Al Qasimi Street. Dasman’s neighborhood is surrounded by popular residential communities including Al Ghubaiba, Al Abar and Al Samnan. Dasman manages large, luxury homes available for rent. TRANSPORT AND PARKING

Plans to establish a proper public transport system in Dasman will soon be planned. For now, however, residents are advised to get around in their own cars or simply rent a minibus, to the nearest bus station, Al Jubail Station, which is 11 minutes from Dasman. Another Al Rolla bus stop, which is driven for about 9 minutes, is on its way to Al Arouba Street.

You will find many study options in Dasman and suburbs. The most common kindergarten for preschoolers is London British Nursery, located on Sheikh Zayed Street. Nearby is the Barashi Nursery on the same road, overlooking the S115 intersection. Ayad Nursery, Bumble Bee Nursery and Pristine Rose Nursery are all within 5 minutes by car near Al wahda Street. With primary and secondary education, one will find many institutions in Dasman as well as respectable options in the surrounding communities. INFPS, New Filipino Private School is a private school for the Filipino community, located on Sheikh Saqr Bin Al Qasimi Street. Other schools in the area are Al Falaj Primary School, Al Ruwayda Preliminary School and Rosary School.
Sharjah Private School, Happy Home English School, German School and New Generation Private School are some of the more prestigious options in the area. There are many institutions of higher learning in almost every field of Sharjah. You will find MG University, Middle East Research Academy of Consultancy & Learning Center, American University of Sharjah, University Dental Hospital Sharjah, Lincoln University of Business and Management, Institute of Modern Technologies (IMTECH) and Emirates Institute for Banking and finance. All of these are available, approximately 15 minutes from Dasman.
CLINICS AND HOSPITALS
You can easily find nearby clinics and hospitals including some of the top hospitals in Sharjah. Derma Dent Medical Clinic is located on Sheikh Zayed Street and is officially set up within the community boundaries. This is a special skin clinic where residents can visit if they are experiencing skin problems. Other nearby clinics include Cosmo Laser Medical Center, which is also a skin care clinic. The Zeenat Al Shifa Center is a women’s health care center, catering to the special needs of women. you can get here within 5 minutes of driving. For general hospitals in the area, you will find Medcare Hospital Sharjah in Al Qasimia, Sharjah, 10 minutes from Dasman. If you take the northbound route to Sheikh Zared Street, you will find Burjeel Specialty Hospital in Al Fayha, Central Private Hospital and Thumbay Hospital on Al Arouba Street. This can be achieved within 10 minutes or less, depending on the route.
MALLS
Supermarkets near Dasman include two of the most popular supermarkets in Sharjah. Oasis Mall and Mega Mall Sharjah. The Oasis Mall is located near the border, Al Ghubaiba, located on Al Wahda Street and takes about 6 minutes to reach from Dasman. Oasis Mall has a number of high-end fashion products, a health center, restaurants, a movie experience and a children’s entertainment area. Mega Mall is relatively large and offers a wide range of shopping and dining experiences. Located in Bu Daniq is a 4-storey building that offers fashion products, decorative products, cosmetics and accessories. Alternatively, guests can enjoy movies and games at the amusement park. You can get here within 10 minutes driving from Dasman.

Food options are plentiful near Dasman. You will find a variety of restaurants that offer multicultural cuisine, including Arabian, South Asian and International cuisine. Other popular restaurants nearby include Dar Al Rayan Restaurant, HongKong, and Cancun Restaurant Sharjah.
