The area is quite cramped when it comes to parking for tourists, but people living in flats find underground parking spaces. There is free parking at the nearest supermarket for visitors to use. For people using public transport, nearby bus stops are located near City Center Sharjah. Bus E306, E307 and E400 have routes passing along Al Wahda Road. Taxis are readily available in this area.
SUPERMARKETS
There are many supermarkets on Al Wahda Street. One of the supermarkets in Sharjah, Lulu Hypermarket has two branches on Al Wahdah Street. One is located near Abu Shagara and the other is in the Corniche Al Buhaira area near Al Majaz 2. There is also Carrefour at City Center Sharjah. Dar Al Tawfeer Supermarket, Al Simi Supermarket, Metro Manila Supermarket and VIVA are some of the supermarkets on Al Wahda Street. All of this can be easily reached on foot from the dwelling towers. If you enjoy a snack with fresh dried fruit and prefer to load your jars with it every time you visit a restaurant, you can visit Al Douri Mart Supermarket and Roastery which is a 6 minute drive.
CHURCHES, TEMPLE AND MOSQUES
There are several Muslims in Al Wahda Street of the Muslim community in the walking areas. The Masjid Al-Ansar is the most famous Muslim church in the area. The Abdullah Ibn Abbas Mosque on King Faisal Street is another beautiful mosque. Al Taqwa Mosque is located inside Al Majaz Park and Suhail Bin Amr Mosque is also another famous mosque near Al Wahda Street. Christians can visit St. Michael’s Catholic Church and the Russian Orthodox Church in the Al Yarmook community. These places of worship are 15 minutes away by car. Hindu temples and Sikh gurudwaras can be reached in 30 minutes. They are all located in Dubai near the Dubai Museum.
SCHOOLS
There are many well-respected educational options near Al Wahda Street. Maharat Al Khaleej Nursery, Five Kids Nursery and Creative Home Nursery are the closest options. Victoria International School of Sharjah (VISS) in Al Taawun can be reached in 10 minutes. VISS follows the Victorian revolution in the Australian curriculum and offers schooling from Pre-KG to Grade 12. Al Durrah International School in the Industrial Area can also be reached in 10 minutes. It follows the American curriculum and introduces a strong STEM program. One of the best British schools in Sharjah, Happy Home English School is located within 12 minutes of the Al Ghubaiba community. Higher education options include Exeed School Of Business and Finance and Eaton Business School, both located in Al Taawun. Another option is Lincoln University of Business and Management, located near the Alfa Center building.

There are many clinics and hospitals along Al Wahda Road. Al Sarraf Medical Center is located on Jamal Abdul Nasser Street. Provides medical care related to heart disease, dental problems and gynecology. Genova Medical Center, Healers Medical Center, Right Medical Center and NMC Medical Center are also located near Al Wahda Road. If you need hospital care, you can visit Oriana Hospital in Al Taawun, one of the best hospitals in Sharjah. About 10 minutes from the location. Sharjah Corniche Hospital and Medcare Hospital both drive for 7 minutes by car on King Faisal Street.
NEARBY AREAS
Al Majaz, a much-anticipated water park with small golf courses, anchor parks and daycare centers are located just west of Al Wahda Street. Al Majaz rented flats are very expensive considering the items they offer. The place is well designed and well maintained. It is famous for its Khalid Lagoon, its many waterfront restaurants and social events. To the east of Al Wahda Street, Industrial Area 1 is located with affordable housing. There are several shopping malls along Al Wahda Street. City Center Sharjah is a popular shopping mall with hypermarket, many local and international genres, restaurants and entertainment options such as VOX Cinemas. City Center Sharjah is located directly opposite Al Wahda Street.
