Can minors visit the museum without being accompanied by an adult?

Minors aged 15 and over (not including groups) may visit Musée Grévin without being accompanied by an adult. Under 15s must be accompanied by an adult.

Must I book my visit online before I come to the museum?

No, it is not mandatory to pre-book your visit to the museum.

Health Pass? Vaccine Pass? What do I need to present when I visit Grévin?

In accordance with the announcements made by the French government, from 14 March 2022, visitors to Musée Grévin will no longer be required to present a Vaccine Pass or a Health Pass.

Is the Café Grevin open to the public?

No, the Café Grevin will stay closed until further notice.

Is alcohol-based hand sanitizer available during the visit?

There are 15 disinfection stations available throughout the visit.

Do you have a dated ticket for a visit between 16/03 and 17/06/2020?

Your ticket remains valid until 30/09/2020. In order to visit the museum you must exchange your ticket and choose a new date and time slot. You can do this on our website by clicking on the “exchange my ticket” box on the home page. Exchange is only possible for dated tickets bought on www.grevin-paris.com for a visit between 16/03 and 17/06/2020.

Is it compulsory to wear a mask?

Wearing a mask is no longer compulsory but it is still recommended in the museum.

Is the Grevin Museum accessible to people with disabilities?

YES. Since the renovation in 2001, the Grevin Museum has been accessible to people who use a wheelchair.

How long does an average visit last?

An average visit lasts 1.5 hours.

Where can I buy tickets for the Grevin Museum?

You can buy tickets on our website, direct from our ticket desk (regardless of the date of your visit) or at most vendors.

Does the Grevin Museum have luggage storage or a cloakroom service?

A cloakroom is available at the following prices: - Small bag and garment: €2 - Large luggage and stroller: €2.50

Can I take photos or videos in the Grevin Museum?

YES. The use of cameras is permitted inside the Grevin Museum. Make the most of your visit and strike a pose with our 200 celebrities to create a truly extraordinary photo album.

Can I touch the wax figures in the museum?

NO, the wax figures are real works of art, and each one takes a team of artists more than 6 months to create. These figures are extremely fragile, and therefore cannot be touched.

Can I eat my own food in the museum?

NO, you cannot eat or picnic in the museum, but if you're really peckish Grevin Cafe will be happy to welcome you.

Do I have to buy a ticket to access the museum shop?

NO, you can visit the museum shop without purchasing an admission ticket. Access is via Passage Jouffroy.

Can I use my ticket to return several times in the same day?

NO, any exit from the museum is final; each entry ticket is single use only.

Do you have a map of the museum available?

We do not have a map of the museum available, but we do offer 2 booklets: the first is designed for children, with a quiz to ensure a fun visit, available for €1. The second is designed for adults, with more details on the sculptures and the history of the museum, available for €2.

Can I pay with an American Express card?

YES, we accept American Express payments.

Can I pay with Cadhoc vouchers?

NO. We do not accept Cadhoc vouchers.

What is the rate for visually impaired people?

The museum is free for visually impaired people. However, in spite of their handicap, they will unfortunately not be allowed to touch the sculptures during their visit, just like the other visitors.

Are there toilets in the museum?

YES, we have toilets for our visitors. They are found at the entrance and after the The Voice area. The toilets after the The Voice area are equipped with a changing table.

Can I pay using gift vouchers/cards?

YES, we accept cheques certain gift tokens only for tickets purchased at the museum. No change is given. We accept the following gift tokens: - Best gift vouchers - ANCV holiday vouchers - Tir Groupé gift vouchers - CADO vouchers - CADO cards - Kadéos gift cards/vouchers - Chèque Culture vouchers - Kyrielles gift cards/vouchers

Can I visit with my cat or dog?

YES. If it is small, carried in a bag, discreet, and poses no risk to other visitors!

Is the Grevin Museum air-conditioned?

YES. The entire museum is air-conditioned.

Can I benefit from reduced rates?

YES, Grevin offers reduced rates on presentation of a valid ID. Reduced rates apply for students, senior citizens (60 and over), jobseekers, and large families. You will be asked for proof at the ticket office and/or when your ticket is checked. Available only at the cash desk.

Can I pay for my tickets using holiday vouchers?

YES. But only if you buy your tickets at the museum. Moreover, we do not give change.

Is there a car park reserved for Grevin Museum visitors?

NO. However, there is a car park close to Grevin: VINCI parking, Place de la Bourse, Paris 2ième. Tel: +33 (0) 142964704

Is entry to the Grevin Museum free for under 26s?

NO, the Grevin Museum is free for children under 5 but cannot offer free access to under 26s; it only applies in national museums, and the Grevin Museum is a private space. A reduced rate is offered to students.

Can I show my tickets on my smartphone?

For E-tickets: YES, just like printed tickets, tickets on your smartphone can be scanned by our receptionists. For Vouchers: NO, vouchers must be printed and presented at the museum ticket desk.
