Hyde Park Art Center is a non-profit contemporary art center located in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1939 as the South Side Community Art Center and became the Hyde Park Art Center in 1965. The center is dedicated to fostering creativity and community engagement through contemporary art exhibitions, artist residencies, education programs, and events.
The Hyde Park Art Center features multiple exhibition spaces, including the Kanter-McCormick Gallery, which showcases cutting-edge contemporary art from around the world, and the Cleve Carney Gallery, which features exhibitions of emerging and mid-career artists.
