Citizens can find a variety of products at City Center Supermarket or as it is also known as New City Center Supermarket, Choitrams and Venicia Supermarket. CHURCHES, TEMPLE AND MOSQUES
Abu Shagara Muslims are evenly distributed. These include the Habbab Ibn Al Munther Mosque, the Al Bara’a Ibn Malik Mosque and the Al Salam Mosque. Also, the famous Al Noor Mosque is a short distance from Abu Shagara. Built with ancient Ottoman-inspired designs, the most visited mosque is characterized by its fascinating craftsmanship. The place of worship is one of the most popular tourist attractions. The beautiful mosque also has guided tours organized by the Sharjah Center for Cultural Communication. Members of the Christian community can find several churches nearby. A group of local churches in Al Yarmook is about 10 minutes from Abu Shagara. However, residents can visit Shiva Temple and Shrinath Ji Temple in Dubai. Getting to the temples from Abu Shagara to the Bur Dubai area will take about 25 minutes. Sikh Gurudwara and Sindhi Gurdarbar are also a few temples in Bur Dubai.
SCHOOLS
One can find a few kindergartens and schools near Abu Shagara, focusing on neighboring communities. For young children, parents can decide between Al Lulu Nursery and Al Farha Nursery; both are far apart. One can also reach a few high schools in Sharjah India in a short drive. Following the Indian curriculum, the Sharjah Indian School is 6 to 10 minutes drive away from the area. Next to it is Happy Home English School, which follows the British Curriculum. Apart from this, parents can also choose Progressive English School and Radiant School in the nearby Al Yarmook community. In higher education, the Emirates Institute for Banking & Financial Study is a long way off. In addition, University of Sharjah University universities are available for about 20 minutes by car. The mall has local and international brands as well as restaurants, a family theme park and a cinema. City Center Sharjah has another shopping mall near the residents. Within 10 minutes, the mall offers a wide range of high-end sales options. Located on King Faisal Street, residents can also visit the Safe Market to shop.
Restaurants
You can find various restaurants in Abu Shagara including many Asian and South Asian restaurants. The Indian restaurant Malabar Regency Restaurant attracts many diners every day. Other restaurants include Kamat Restaurant, Bab Abu Shagarah Restaurant and Cancun Restaurant. Apart from this, Shakespeare and Co and the Lebanese restaurant Zaroob are a long way off. Beaches
Beaches near Abu Shagara include Al Khan Beach and Al Mamzar Beach Park. Al Khan Beach is located near Abu Shagara, 14 minutes away by car. Not only this, but visitors can also enjoy a variety of new foods and drinks while relaxing on the beach.
