Al Fayha is one of the seven areas of Halwan Suburb, Sharjah. It is located near the famous Cultural Square and Al Ramla West. Sheikh Zayed Street runs with a residential community providing easy access to neighboring areas. The road also connects it to the main emirate highway, the E11. The residential community has open houses in various facilities available for sale and rental purposes. There are several bus stations in neighboring communities that residents can use for transportation. Bus E303, Bus 303A, E400, E307 and E307A have routes passing through Al Fayha. One can get these buses from Al Rolla bus station, Sharjah Al Jubail bus station and Sharjah King Faisal Road Jumbo (Sony) bus station. All these bus stations are available within 10 minutes of driving. Another way of public transportation in Al Fayha is taxi service. Government taxi service and private taxi services are available through the smartphone app.
SUPERMAKETS
The Sharjah Co-op Society in Al Fayha is an all-inclusive store in the area. It is one of the largest shops in Sharjah and is very popular with the locals for its discounted prices. The Lulu Hypermarket Maysaloon is located right on the corner. It is distributed at all levels through the ground floor food category and first-class living products. The hypermarket has a variety of fresh, frozen products, snacks and much more. Other nearby supermarkets are Darbar Supermarket, Jesco Supermarket and Nisa Supermarket.
CHURCHES, TEMPLE AND MOSQUES
Members of the Muslim community perform their daily prayers at the Burhani Masjid Sharjah, Jasim Saif Mosque and Fatima Al Zahra Mosque. The mosques near Al Fayha were found within 5 minutes by car. There are several Sharjah churches of the Christian community in the neighboring Al Yarmook area. ISt. Michael’s Catholic Church, St Martin’s Anglican Church and Grace Evangelical for a few weeks near Al Fayha. Nearby temples for members of the Hindu community are located in Dubai which means one can visit the temples in Bur Dubai for a half hour journey.
SCHOOLS
There are many pre-school options available in the area. Kids Paradise Nursery, Dreamland Nursery and Emirates English Nursery Preschool are just a few of the kindergartens in Al Fayha. Kids Paradise Nursery follows the British Foundation curriculum and the Montessori Method and the Reggio Emilia Approach. The nursery has four different programs for children between the ages of 2year to 4years. It has a bus service, an outdoor play area and a children’s garden. Parents with young children will find one of the best schools in Sharjah near the neighborhood. Al Khaleej International Private School, Victoria International School of Sharjah and International School of Creative Science are some of the schools near Al Fayha. All these nearby schools are available in 10 to 15 minutes by car. Lincoln University of Business and Management at Al Majaz 1 is the nearest university for those seeking higher education options. Sharjah City University is located in a 20-minute location where citizens can find many universities offering graduate programs and degrees.
CLINICS AND HOSPITALS
Burjeel Specialty Hospital Sharjah in Al Fayha is one of the top hospitals in Sharjah. A 75-bed hospital with 24-hour emergency services. The key departments of the hospital are Neurosciences, Cardiology, Women & Child care, Cosmetic Dentistry and Orthopedics. Other nearby hospitals include Thumbay Hospital Day Care, Zulekha Hospital and Sharjah Corniche Hospital.
All these hospitals are available in 6 to 12 minutes by car. Pharmacies near Al Fayha are Bait Al Hikma, NMC and Thumbay. One will have to drive for three to five minutes to take the drugs at these stores.
Mall
Al Shaab Village close to the community offers a complete shopping and entertainment experience for Sharjah residents. One can find more than 250 shopping malls, a supermarket, a movie theater and a park in Al Shaab Village. Available 6 minutes by car from the area. Mega Mall Sharjah has another shopping mall near Al Fayha. It is one of the best shopping and entertainment destinations in Sharjah.
