The College of Medicine is part of the well-known Cluster of the Sharjah University of Medicine and Health at Sharjah University City, which has a magnificent campus with a beautiful landscape and a large spring dam located in the center of the campus. The Health and Wellness Cluster resides at the home of the Medical, Dental Colleges, and Health Sciences, as well as the Clinical Training Center (CTC) in addition to the art education hospital.

CLINIC SKILLS
The Clinical Skills College College of Medicine program is designed to train medical students from Year One to acquire clinical and technical skills using advanced simulators, models, computer-based simulators and simulated patients. Training includes but is not limited to communication skills, physical examination skills, procedures and surgical training.
MASTERS PROGRAM
The College of Medicine, while integrating its undergraduate undergraduate programs, has started graduation programs offering Master and Ph.D. degrees in Molecular Medicine and Translational Research. The program started in mid-2016. The College has successfully established partnerships and strategies with leading universities and institutions in Germany, Canada, Australia and the USA. Agreements have been signed by Highness, Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qassimi, and Lubeck University in Germany to support postgraduate training and research in laboratories. An important aspect of the agreement with Lubeck University is to establish a joint review of Master and PhD programs in Molecular Medicine and Translational Research where degrees are awarded by two universities. Similar agreements are ongoing between the University of Sharjah and McGill University and the University of Ottawa in Canada. Master’s and PhD programs will be the cornerstone of the Sharjah Institute for Medical Research at the University of Sharjah.
Doctor of Philosophy

ACCREDITATION
The University of Sharjah is a fully licensed higher education institution in the UAE. All programs offered by the University are approved by the Education Authorization Commission (CAA) in the United Arab Emirates. All of the following programs offered by the College of Medicine are approved by CAA: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Master of Science in Leadership in Health Profession Education, Masters of Science in Molecular Medicine and Translational Research, Masters of Science in Diabetes Management, Diploma Graduation in Ultrasound Technology Applications, Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Medicine and Translational Research.
