ABOUT
Muwailih Commercial is an operational area in Sharjah that offers rental studios and affordable accommodation. This area offers instant access to some of the top rated universities. Smart, is a place to stay because it is so close to Dubai. Many students and staff choose to stay in the area because it is easier to access the trade. The northern boundary of this community extends directly from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) – a highway that connects seven emirates in the UAE, and Maliha Road runs along the eastern side of the area. To the south are Industrial Zone 15 and 17, while University City Sharjah lies south of Mawailih Commercial. Muwailih Commercial is a quiet town within Sharjah. It is home to many schools, restaurants and apartment buildings. However, most communities may appear to be underdeveloped as large, open parcels are still under development. There are not many developed open spaces where residents can walk or children can play. Many locals visit a local mosque with a large car park.
TRANSPORT AND PARKING
You will find that most buildings in Mwawailih Commercial will not provide integrated parking spaces. Most of the buildings will have shops where there are parking areas in front of the store, residents and visitors will need to use the same parking spaces. There is limited public transport in the area, Al Muwailah Bus Terminal is where most buses pass. Taxis are also hard to come by, and citizens will have to rely on tax-efficient apps such as Careem and Uber.
Supermarkets
You may find many supermarkets nearby and in neighboring communities. Nesto Hypermarket and Galaxy City Supermarket in Muwailih Commercial are some of the most popular options. There is a Ramez Hypermarket branch in Industrial Area 13 and the Carrefour Market in Matajer Al Juraina. Other major public stores include Souq Al Safa SuperMarket, Roses Land Supermarket, Theur AI Shams Supermarket, Hilal Al Madina Supermarket, Sabah Al Madinah Supermarket and many more. All in all, you may find a small mart located at the bottom of your building or at least not too far away, where you can simply walk to the store.
CHURCHES, TEMPLE AND MOSQUES
One will find many churches in the community of Al Yarmook, Sharjah. The community is not far from Muwailih Commercial as it only takes 15 minutes to reach Al Yarmook. In addition, there are several types of Al Yarmook churches that include the Russian Orthodox Church, the Michael Catholic Church in St. Petersburg. Michael and other Pentecostal Churches. For those who adhere to the Hindu faith, they will have to travel 30 minutes from Dubai to visit the temple. For Muslims, there are several Muslims nearby. In all, the most visited is the Al Falah Mosque located southwest of the surrounding University City.
SCHOOLS
There are more than 20 schools adjacent to the area. The top three are Sharjah Ambassador School, GEMS Millennium School and Our Own English High School. Whether parents want to enroll their children in one of India’s most prestigious schools in Sharjah, or choose to choose British or American curriculum schools, there is a good chance that there will be schools that meet many parental requirements, both in terms of price and quality education. Besides, those who want to pursue higher education will be happy to find that some of the best universities are just a few miles from the University of Sharjah community. For example, you will find Skyline University, Sharjah’s Men College, Sharjah University, Tertiary Colleges of Technology, and the American University of Sharjah here. Therefore, staying here would be ideal for new professionals who want to pursue higher education.
CLINICS AND HOSPITALS
There are a few clinics available in the community but the closest are the Prestige Dental Clinic and New Central Poly Clinic. There is a clinic in Mwawailih Commercial, called Thumbay Medical & Dental Specialty Center. Whether you have a medical emergency or need to consult a doctor, you can easily access this clinic in about five minutes. There is also University Sharjah Hospital in University City, which can take up to 9 minutes to arrive with Royal Hospital, across from Sharjah International Airport.
NEARBY AREAS
Surrounding the community is the Sharjah Industrial Area with a commercial center in Sharjah. To its west is the Oud Al Muteena community in Dubai. It is close to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, which can reduce travel times for those who have to travel regularly back to Sharjah and Dubai.
Malls
There are a few shopping malls in the region. However, the most popular of all is still eight minutes away, called Matajer Al Juraina. This shopping mall is considered a perfect place for shopping, dining and banking. It has several bank branches and has currency exchange centers. There are a variety of pharmacies, fashion stores, department stores and supermarkets like Carrefour. So, if you need to get all your work done at once, here is where you can go. There are other nearby malls such as Safeer Mall, City Center Al Zahia and Zero 6 Mall.

There are many unusual restaurants in Mwailih Commercial. Popular options include Panoor Restaurant, Bab Al Madina Restaurant, Sasya Pure Veg Restaurant and more. Other popular restaurants in the area include Paper Fig, ARZU Bistro and Coffee, Gulf Pastry and Al Hattab Restaurant.
Beaches
With this community located on the southern tip of the Sharjah, a visit to the beach is about 20 minutes away. Similarly, you can expect to find a few public beaches once you reach the northern part of Sharjah. Other popular beaches to visit are Al Mamzar Open Beach and Al Khan Beach.
