I have a ticket with a time slot. How long can I stay in the museum?
You can take all the time you need to visit the Anne Frank House. Only your starting time (= your time slot) is fixed. On average, a visit lasts an hour.
Can I photograph in the Anne Frank House?
Photography is not allowed. We want to protect the originals in the museum and not hinder other visitors
Can I take a tour of the museum?
We do not give guided tours in the museum. There is a free audio tour. The audio tour is available in nine languages: Dutch, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Italian, Japanese and Hebrew.
Is there a cloakroom in the Anne Frank House?
Our cloakroom is currently closed, please do not bring large bags! There is a free cloakroom in the museum where you can drop off your coat, bag, umbrella, buggy or stroller. Handbags smaller than A4 size are allowed into the museum. There is no room in our wardrobe for large bags and backpacks, suitcases or other bulky items. Leave your luggage at your hotel or store it at the drop & go at Central Station. This will prevent you from being able to enter the museum.

We understand your disappointment. The Anne Frank House is a small museum with limited space. We use maximum opening hours, but the demand for tickets remains many times greater than the supply. Tickets are therefore quickly sold out. Unfortunately, we have to disappoint many people every day. You can try to buy a ticket for another date. Tickets cannot be bought in the museum itself.
Can I exchange my ticket or get a refund?

You can reserve a maximum of 14 tickets per booking.
