The Groote Museum is a new museum at ARTIS. A place to explore your connection with yourself, your body, and all other life on Earth.
What is there to see and do in the museum?
The Groote Museum consists of the Oostzaal and the Westzaal. Within these two galleries are 14 interconnected zones From communicating plants to a competition with a chimpanzee to a scent tunnel that pricks memories and stirs your emotions, get ready for a personal expedition crisscrossing the museum.

When is the Groote Museum opening?
The ARTIS-Groote Museum will open on May 12, 2022. Its reopening will be celebrated with a special program for visitors during the opening week, from Thursday, 12 May to Sunday, 15 May.
Are there any familyactivities for young children?
The recommended age for the Groote Museum is 8 years old. There are currently no special family tours or activities for young children at the museum.
When is the Groote Museum open?
