How do I get to the club?
111 Sussex Street (underneath Slip Inn), Sydney, 2000. Please enter down the stairs between Slip Inn and the bridge, (1 Slip St).
Operating times?
Friday’s are 9pm – 3.30am, Saturday’s are 9pm – 4am. Please be aware that the lockout laws no longer in place and that there is no last entry time. Our license to operate runs until 4am and the closure time is purely dependent on the crowd and DJs between 3-4am.
Where can I buy tickets to the club?
You can purchase pre-sale tickets online at chineselaundry.club via Ticketbooth, or buy tickets at the door on the night. If you want to skip the queues we recommend you arrive early and purchase pre-sale tickets. Tickets are non-refundable.
What are the ticket terms & conditions?
Entry with a ticket is guaranteed before 12pm (providing passing security and ID assessment). The event organiser and venue reserves the right to withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and/or vary advertised prices, event times and inclusions without notice. The event organiser and venue reserves the right of admission and to enforce the Venue Entry Conditions. Please check the event organiser or venue website for additional terms and conditions of entry to the event. There are no refunds or exchanges on any ticket except as required by and/or specified by the Live Performance Australia Industry Code of Practice. It is a condition of sale that tickets may not be offered for unauthorised re-sale, on 3rd party websites such as eBay or Gumtree. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes. What do you accept as valid ID?
Chinese Laundry is strictly an 18+ venue. To gain entry everyone will need to show valid ID: either a Driver’s Licence, Photo Card or Passport (International passports are accepted).

Chinese Laundry currently offers discount when you submit your name on our guest list here. For larger student groups or one off events please get in touch and we can try and cater to your group.
Do you have a dress code?
Overall our dress code is relaxed, however management reserve the right to refuse entry upon arrival.

The cloakroom is available during winter and can be found upstairs near the kitchen in El Loco.

Can I take photos at the club?
Personal photos are fine but we do not allow any unauthorised filming or photography during club nights. Anyone found doing this without prior permission is at risk of having his or her property confiscated. There may be promotional and/or commercial photography, video and/or audio recording of the club, the DJ’s and customers. By entering the club, you consent to the filming and recording of your likeness for use by Chinese Laundry. Such consent includes use by Chinese Laundry for any and all purposes in all media.
