Dig This Vegas
Dig This Vegas is an incredibly unique and thrilling attraction located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The concept of Dig This Vegas is based around operating heavy construction equipment, such as bulldozers and excavators, to dig, move, and stack dirt in a giant sandpit. This is an experience that is not only fun and exhilarating but is also educational, and provides a unique perspective on the construction industry.
Founded by Ed Mumm, Dig This Vegas is a one-of-a-kind attraction that allows visitors to operate heavy construction equipment in a safe and controlled environment. Visitors can choose from a range of construction equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and skid steers, each of which is fully operational and capable of performing a range of tasks.
Upon arrival at Dig This Vegas, visitors will receive a safety briefing and an introduction to the equipment they will be operating. After a brief lesson on how to operate the equipment, visitors will be ready to take to the sandpit and start digging. A skilled instructor will be on hand to provide guidance and advice, ensuring that visitors are operating the equipment safely and correctly.
One of the most popular activities at Dig This Vegas is the bulldozer experience. Visitors can get behind the controls of a real bulldozer and push, pile, and sculpt dirt like a real construction worker. The bulldozer experience lasts for 90 minutes and includes a range of tasks, including pushing dirt, creating berms, and stacking tires. Visitors can also choose to participate in the excavator experience, which involves digging trenches, moving large rocks, and stacking tires.
In addition to the heavy equipment experience, Dig This Vegas also offers a range of other activities, including mini excavators, skid steers, and the ultimate car crushing experience. During the car crushing experience, visitors get to operate a giant excavator, lifting and crushing a car like it’s made of paper. This is a thrilling and unforgettable experience that is not to be missed.
Dig This Vegas is suitable for visitors of all ages, and no previous experience is required. Whether you’re an experienced heavy equipment operator or have never even seen a bulldozer before, Dig This Vegas is the perfect attraction for a fun and unique experience. The experience is open year-round, and visitors can book their spot in advance to ensure availability.
Dig This Vegas is located just a few miles from the Las Vegas Strip, making it easily accessible for visitors staying in the area. The attraction is situated on a large plot of land, with plenty of space for the sandpit and all of the equipment. Visitors will need to wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing, as they will be getting hands-on with the equipment and working up a sweat.
In addition to the heavy equipment experience, Dig This Vegas also offers a range of corporate team building packages, making it the perfect venue for a unique and engaging team-building experience. Corporate groups can choose from a range of activities, including the bulldozer challenge, the excavator challenge, and the skid steer challenge. The team-building activities are designed to encourage teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, making them perfect for corporate groups looking to develop their skills.
