Professor X is a genius with many secrets hidden in his old office. Upon entering the room, the door shuts behind you and you must use your problem-solving skills to escape before time runs out. You will travel back in time and search for hidden clues throughout the room. The Madam X rooms, on the other hand, challenge players to crack the crazy securities protecting her precious 69-carat diamond.
For larger groups, Xitroom Escape Game offers three Professor Rooms and two Madam X Rooms to allow for group competition. Single groups can choose any room and book, and the company offers more information and combination deals upon request.
Xitroom Escape Game also offers a delicious three-course dinner at the nearby restaurant In de Waag, which pays extra attention to tasty seasonal vegetables. The starter and main course offer a choice between meat, fish, or vegetarian dishes. The waiting room also offers drinks before the game begins.
The minimum age requirement is 14 years old, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Xitroom Escape Game is also the first Dutch Escape Room, offering high-quality and creative games since 2013.
For safety reasons, Xitroom Escape Game does not allow alcohol consumption before the game. The rooms and decorations must be handled with care and responsibility, and there will be no exceptions.

More than 6 players, is this possible? And a large group?
Yes of course that’s possible, but a group larger than 6 has to split up. You can book an extra room at the same time or after the first one. For a group of 7, we can make an exception.
We had a couple of beers.. Is that Okay?
We like beer as much as you do! But at Xitroom Escape Game, you cannot play if you are drunk, at all. The room and decoration should be handled with care and responsibility. There will be no exception!
Do you have Gift Vouchers?
Yes we do, because it’s awesome to get an Escape Game as a present! You can either choose the value of the voucher yourself, or you pick the number of players in a game you want to give the voucher to (prices depending on the city).
Is the game scary?
No it’s not scary and there will be no horror. It is just very exciting and mind blowing. Xitroom will always provide feel good games. It’s not dark in the room and the door is provided with an emergency button. Everything is monitored by security cameras. Escape Rooms based on a horror theme do exist. If you like this, you should really try the Escape Challenge in Delft, or Escaperoom Bunschoten.
Can children play the game?
An Escape Game is fun because it’s exciting, but also because it’s a real mental challenge. From the age of 14 you can play by yourself. Accompanied by an adult, it can be fun for children as well. From which age is hard to tell, that depends on the group composition. We had some 8 year olds over that really excelled themselves! If you have any doubts, just contact us.
The first Dutch Escape Game, wasn’t that the other one?
It all started back in 2013. Xitroom was the first one in the Netherlands, at least, we thought so. At the same time Bunschoten popped up. Who was the very first doesn’t matter, their Escape Room is awesome and you should really visit that one too!
