HOW CAN I BOOK ONE OR MORE ROOMS AND WHEN DO I PAY?
Simply go to [Book] and follow the prompts to select number of players, date, game, and then add more games if you wish. Once ready you can go to “Checkout” where you’ll be prompted to pay, followed by a booking confirmation via email (make sure you check your spam folder for booking confirmation).
CAN I PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD?
We use Squareup for transactions and therefore accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards.
HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY BOOKING?
No cancellations or refunds are available, however you can reschedule your booking using the link contained in the confirmation email up to 72 hours before your booking time. Note: You can reschedule your booking within 72 hours by calling us at (02) 9698 8161. Alternatively you can send email to info@expeditionsydney.com.au.
CAN I PURCHASE A GIFT VOUCHER AND HOW DO I REDEEM IT?

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
No. However those under 13 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult. There is no charge for participants aged 7 years and under.
THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE SHOWING UP MAY DIFFER FROM THE NUMBER THAT WAS BOOKED. IS THIS A PROBLEM?
No problem! However, the size of the team cannot exceed the maximum of 6 players per room. You can simply pay for the extra people when you arrive.
WHAT'S THE IDEAL TEAM/GROUP SIZE FOR AN ESCAPE ROOM?
More people equals more fun and excitement! That said, small groups will of course have fun, but the experience will be different. Why not try both? We currently have two rooms. Please note, the maximum number of players is 6 to prevent over-crowding.
ARE THERE ANY HEALTH CONDITIONS THAT WOULD PREVENT A PLAYER FROM PLAYING THE GAME?
Solving the rooms involves no strenuous physical activities. Our aim is also not to scare people. That said, we expect that the enigmatic environment during the games will raise people's adrenaline levels. AM I GOING TO BE PHYSICALLY TRAPPED INSIDE THE ROOM?
No. Safety is always our first priority. The entrance is unlocked and you can leave at any time.
HOW CLEVER DO I NEED TO BE?
There is no need to worry! Although our rooms are designed to challenge you, our number one aim is for you to have fun! Each room and puzzle requires different types of thinking and problem solving. Also remember to consult your team mates and work together to solve tricky puzzles. However, if you're really stuck, our game masters may or may not be willing to lend a helping hand...
ARE ALL ROOMS OF EQUAL DIFFICULTY?
We have one room currently. However, in the future, we will have multiple rooms and they each offer very different experiences in terms of story, environment, and game flow.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE? WHAT IF I’M LATE?
Your punctuality is greatly appreciated! We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your booking time so you can be briefed before going into the room. If you are late you’ll have less time to play in order to allow the next team/booking to start on time.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
A Google map is located on our Location page. TRAIN We are located just over 100 meters away from the Redfern Train Station. PARKING There are plenty of parking options in and around the nearby. Please check parking rates and opening hours before you arrive.
WHAT TO BRING? ANY SUGGESTIONS BEFORE WE START THE GAME?
You only need to bring yourself, your friends, colleagues, and sense of adventure. In order to ensure an hour of uninterrupted fun, please use the restroom before the game starts and leave your belongings in the lockers provided before entering the game area.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FINISH THE GAME?
It depends on your performance. When the game starts, you will have 60 minutes to escape, so the game never lasts more than an hour.
WHERE CAN I FIND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS?
Terms and conditions are advised online through the booking process. We will also ask you to sign a liability waiver before the game starts.
CAN I JUST WALK IN?
