LA MER DUBAI OPENING SCHEDULE
Phase I, comprising of La Mer South and La Mer North, opened to the public on October 15th, 2017. It feels a lot bigger than you’d imagine, but we did some fact-checking, and the area actually covers an impressive 13.4 million square feet.
Meanwhile, Phase II, The Wharf started welcoming visitors in 2018 and features the Laguna Waterpark and Roxy Cinemas!
LA MER BEACH
La Mer offers over a hundred shops, restaurants and cafes, a waterpark, a trampoline park, a skateboard park and a cinema. But it’s really the 2.5 long strip of the Jumeirah Public Beach that gives the venue its cheery marine spirit.
At La Mer Beach, you can walk barefoot dressed head to toe in beach chic, or you can go skimpy and focus on beach sports. Whatever you opt for, there’s plenty of cabanas, showers, and other facilities.
LA MER RESTAURANTS

OUR VERDICT
La Mer Dubai by Meraas represents another fantastic addition to the increasingly impressive lifestyle and entertainment destinations in Dubai. We can’t wait to see what the residential development of La Mer will have in store for users of Bayut. We certainly loved La Mer, and we are sure you will too!
Keep an eye out for the parking lot full of illustrations of marine life, a fish illustration on a manhole, the school of fish drawings and other marine-inspired creatives.
To sum up, La Mer Dubai is a must for anyone who’s a thalassophile at heart.
