Pacific Skydiving Center Hawaii
Pacific Skydiving Center is one of the best places to experience the thrill of skydiving in Hawaii. It is located in the beautiful countryside of Waialua, on the North Shore of Oahu. The center offers skydiving experiences for everyone, from first-time jumpers to experienced skydivers. The team at Pacific Skydiving Center is dedicated to making sure every jump is safe and unforgettable.
First-time jumpers are offered a tandem skydive, which means they are attached to an experienced instructor during the entire jump. Tandem jumps are an excellent way for beginners to experience the thrill of skydiving, without having to go through the training required to jump solo. The tandem jump at Pacific Skydiving Center involves a 15-minute briefing session on the ground, where the instructor will go through everything you need to know about the jump, including how to exit the plane and what to expect during freefall. Once you are briefed and ready to go, you and your instructor will board the plane, ascend to an altitude of 10,000 to 14,000 feet, and then jump out together. You will experience a thrilling 60-second freefall, followed by a 5 to 7-minute parachute ride back to the ground.
For experienced skydivers, Pacific Skydiving Center offers a range of options, including solo skydives and group jumps. The center provides all the necessary equipment and facilities, including a drop zone, packing area, and classrooms for training. The experienced instructors at Pacific Skydiving Center are also available for coaching, and can help skydivers improve their skills.
Pacific Skydiving Center prides itself on being a very safe skydiving facility, with a perfect safety record. The center uses only state-of-the-art equipment and employs highly qualified instructors with thousands of jumps under their belts. All instructors at the center are certified by the United States Parachute Association, which is the governing body for the sport of skydiving in the United States. In addition to offering skydiving experiences, Pacific Skydiving Center also provides scenic airplane tours of Oahu. The tours offer a unique perspective of the island, from the lush green mountains to the sparkling blue waters. The airplane tours are a great way to see the natural beauty of Oahu from above, and are perfect for those who want to take a break from the adrenaline rush of skydiving.

FAQ's
What Can I Expect?
You will watch a video, sign a waiver, meet your instructor and receive a briefing with instruction on aircraft exit and landing. The 14,000+ foot freefall lasts about 60 seconds (ULTIMATE), and the Regular freefall is about 20 seconds. You won't feel like you are falling, unlike on a roller coaster there is no acceleration, instead you will exit the plane at roughly the same speed as terminal velocity: with constant speed, you will feel like laying on an air mattress, relaxed, in the middle of the sky! Both have 4-6 minutes of canopy - descent with your chute open. Depending on how busy we are, you should expect to be at the dropzone for 1 to 4 hrs after completing your paperwork.
Is There a Weight Restriction?
Yes. Additional instructor cash fees apply if you are over 200 lbs. 201 lbs - 210 lbs = $10.00 additional. 211 lbs - 220 lbs = $20.00 additional. 221 lbs - 230 lbs = $30.00 additional. 231 lbs - 240 lbs = $40.00 additional. Weight Limit = 240 lbs. Contact the office for more information.
How Much Time Will Everything Take?
Tandem classes last only about 20 minutes. After the class, timing is dependent on variables such as weather conditions, how many people are jumping that day and the order you had signed in. Ideally, a tandem jump can be completed in 1 to 4 hours but please be mindful of other factors, and be prepared to spend the entire day on the North Shore. PLEASE NOTE: Skydiving is highly dependent on weather conditions. In the past couple years, the local weather has evolved in a way that makes it more difficult to predict and more difficult to jump. We've completed a number of upgrades and operational improvements to maximize your chances of jumping in a timely manner but you must be prepared for delays or cancellation due to weather. Rest assured that YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR PRIMARY CONCERN and that our team is doing everything to get you in the air safely and legally. If you have concerns, make sure to contact our manager.
What Does Skydiving Feel Like?
The sensation of freefall is more like flying, and is intensely exciting and liberating. You do not feel like you're on a rollercoaster, instead you are floating in the middle of the sky without any of the sensation of falling. The airplane has forward momentum so you never experience the falling sensation. The canopy flight is peaceful and relaxing.
What If I Change My Mind?
If you change your mind once paperwork is turned in and the conditions are still good for skydiving, you are responsible for 100% of the jump cost, video and photography if you have chosen that option.
What About the Weather?
Tropical weather is hard to predict. It changes constantly, and is often very different from one side of the island to the other. Be sure to call before you drive to our location. Leave it to us to decide if the weather is good enough to jump. In order to maximize your safety, we generally avoid less-than-perfect conditions.
How Long is the Freefall?
About 60 seconds in the ULTIMATE freefall with PROOF OF GUARANTEE. 15-20 seconds in REGULAR freefall Approx. 4-6 minutes under canopy Over 100 seconds in the EXTREME freefall.
