We have a dedicated team of lifeguards to maintain safety. Our lifeguards are trained in-service, with some of Australia’s most qualified lifeguards here. We make sure that our lifeguards are vigilant at all times, so that everyone gets the most of their day at Raging Waters. Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Always supervise your children.
Keep Watch at Raging Waters:
Children under 10 years are not allowed entry unless under active supervision by a person 16 years or older Parents and guardians should actively supervise their children at all times. For 0 – 5 years old and non-swimmers, a parent or guardian needs to be always in the water within arms’ reach of a child. Engage your child by playing or talking to them. Constant supervision should be always enforced for children aged 6 – 10 years old. Parents and guardians must be prepared to enter the water with this age group. For parents with 11 -14 year old children, always check on your child by going to where they are in or around the water.
What are the rules and regulations?
Our rules and regulations follow Royal Life Saving’s guidelines. Raging Waters Sydney follows the Royal Surf Life Saving’s guidelines for water safety, the Keep Watch program.
Here are 4 simple steps to protect yourself against the sun:
Slip on a thick, long sleeve shirt Put on some 30+ water resistant sunscreen Slap on a hat (ideally broad-rimmed) Take out the sunnies (UV protective filter) and you’re done! Avoid direct exposure to the sun during the hottest part of the day (between 10 am and 2 pm) and use our shade. If you’re visiting the park while being under the sun for long periods of time, make sure you stay hydrated and drink lots of water. You may want to take time for water breaks to keep you feeling great.
What should I do to protect myself against the sun?
We strongly encourage everyone to practise sun safety. To protect yourself against the sun, always bring a hat and sunglasses to wear when you’re not using the attractions. Make sure that your sunscreen offers advanced protection against the sun and conditions such as contact with sand, wind, sweat or water. Reapply your sunscreen every 90 minutes to ensure constant protection against the sun.
If it’s raining, will the park remain open?

How do I hire a locker?
Lockers can be purchased in park at the locker bays. All locker bays accept card only. There are four locker locations throughout the park that guests will be able to choose from. These include: Family Amenities and Lockers - located directly inside the park near the front entrance. Green Amenities and Lockers - located between Dinosaur Lagoon and Sydney SkyCoaster. Certainly! Eskies (portable coolers) are limited to a maximum size of 40 litres per group. For safety reasons, glassware is not allowed in all areas of the park. Commercially prepared food (e.g fast food), bulk (catering) food and alcohol are prohibited. Food, merchandise, locker rentals, Cabanas, Raging Xpress, pay-per-ride attractions, in park services, special concerts or events are not included.
Are there discounted prices for people with disabilities?
Yes, there are. Show us your State/Commonwealth issued Disability Pension card while purchasing at the gate and you’ll get the discounted price. Accompanying guests, you’re entitled to one free companion ticket. Show us your Companion Card (companioncard.gov.au) during your visit and you’re good to go! Everyone deserves fun, and we want you to have fun too, while providing care and support. Collect your free ticket from Ticketing Services on the day of your visit. Parking spaces are also available for guests who own a valid disabled parking permit. These car parking spaces are marked with the International Disability Symbol.

Do you provide parking for Disabled Guests?

Yes, parking is $10 a day. Platinum Passholders receive free parking. Gold Passholders receive a 40% discount.
