Who is Shrek's Adventure suitable for?
During your adventure you’ll meet many characters (princesses and donkeys included), but as in all fairytales you may also encounter a witch or two, which some of our younger audience may find scary! Whilst there’s no age limit, we recommend Shrek's Adventure! London for children aged 6-12 (and for those younger knights and princesses feeling especially brave).
Is the attraction suitable for pregnant guests?
Pregnant guests are welcome to visit Shrek’s Adventure at any time during their pregnancy and can take part in all of our shows. The tour itself can take up to one and a half hours where you will be walking and standing the majority of the time.
Are there any age restrictions?
Shrek’s Adventure is suitable for all ages, afterall Shrek is a family-ogre! Please note, children under the age of 3 go free but we do advise that the attraction is most suitable for children aged 6 and over. If at any time you need to leave the attraction, simply speak to the actor in the show you are in and they will arrange for someone to help you to the nearest exit as soon as possible. Children 15 and under must be accompanied or supervised by an adult, prince or princess aged 18 years or over. Are there any 4D Magic Bus restrictions?
The magic bus is a 4D cinema experience that includes water sprays, air blasts, fog and aromas. You should not experience this section of the tour if you suffer from any disorder or condition that may be affected by any of the above, or if you have an overly sensitive nose and don’t like the smell of swamps! The bus is not suitable for guests who suffer from the conditions below; Epilepsy Motion sickness If you have a heart condition or if you are fitted with a pacemaker Asthma Any other chronic illness The bus is accessible to wheelchair users who are able to transfer up one step, into the seat and have the ability to sit upright.
Where is it?
Shrek’s Adventure! Is located not too Far Far Away but in County Hall, on Westminster Bridge Road, SE1 7PB, between the Coca Cola London Eye and Sea Life London Aquarium.
Is there a car park?
Unfortunately there is not a car park on site for public use or for onion carriages; however there are a few car parks within walking distance of the attraction, such as Hungerford Bridge car park located next to Jubilee Gardens which is a short distance from Shrek’s Adventure.
Can I bring in luggage with me?
We do not accept suitcases or large items of hand luggage into this attraction. If you arrive with these items you will be directed to local left luggage services. There is local luggage storage hosted by Bounce Bag Storage located on York Road or larger service at Charing Cross station. Handbags and backpacks up to a 30litre capacity will be permitted.
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased via the Shrek’s Adventure website, click here to book. Please note: The time on your ticket is not the show time but the time you are allowed to enter the building and queue. Queue times differ depending on attendance levels and can go from 10-35 minutes. We advise you allow yourself at least an hour and a half to enjoy the whole experience and to have the most fun on this adventure to Far Far Away
Can I use a voucher?
At Shrek’s Adventure we may take part in the odd ogre-sized offer but it would be disappointing to arrive and find that your voucher isn’t valid. Make sure you're wearing your shrek-tactles to check the full terms and conditions to see if your voucher is valid with us or if there are any exclusion dates. Details of where these conditions can be found will be printed on the voucher. Shrek’s Adventure! London operates a timed ticketing system and has a limited capacity each day. During peak periods we will sell out so we suggest arriving as early as your cotton socks can carry you on the day of your visit to redeem your voucher and secure an entry time. Some vouchers do allow on line booking but the majority don’t, so make sure you check your voucher for details. If you want to avoid ogre-sized disappointment booking by our website guarantees your entry and you can save up to 20%! That could buy Donkey a waffle or two!
I have a pre-paid ticket from another attraction, do I get priority entry?
Combination tickets purchased from another attraction such as the Coca-Cola London Eye, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, The London Dungeon or Madame Tussauds must be booked into a show time before starting your tour. On arrival you will need to exchange your confirmation or voucher for your Shrek’s Adventure ticket at our box office and join the entry queue at your designated show time. Please note that combination tickets do not guarantee you entry until you have exchanged them at our box office. If we are sold out for the day (highly likely in peak times) then you will be asked to book for another day.
Are tickets refundable?

How do I make a group (10+) booking?

I have a Merlin Annual Pass. Can I visit?
All Merlin Annual Passholders are able to visit Shrek’s Adventure! London, but certain pass types have restrictions on select days. For all restrictions, please check here. All Merlin Annual Passholders are required to book online to secure their entry timeslot using the Passholder pre-booking hub. As we are set to be very popular this year, we would advise any passholder wishing to visit to pre-book as early as possible to ensure that they secure their entry. If you are aren’t able to see any availability on the date or time you are looking to visit, please look at visiting on an alternative date, or checking back at a later time to see if tickets have become available.
I have selected a time, what time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the attraction within the time indicated on your booking confirmation and not a moment sooner. You will need to bring a printed version of the booking with you on the day. On arrival present your printed booking confirmation to a member of the door staff who will direct you. Please note: If you do not arrive within your allocated arrival time, there may be an extended wait for the next available show time. In busy periods we cannot guarantee immediate entry if you miss your arrival time.
How do they work?
When booking a combination ticket through our website, you will be asked to select a date and time. This date and time is for your visit here at Shrek’s Adventure! London. From this date, you have 90 days to visit all the other attractions you have purchased and entry is not guaranteed on date of booking and subject to that attraction’s capacity. When you arrive to collect your tickets, you will be issued with your Shrek’s Adventure! London tickets and vouchers for all other attractions that you have purchased. You will need to take these vouchers to the relevant attraction and exchange them for scannable tickets. Some attractions require you to book into a time slot; these attractions are the London Dungeon, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, the London Eye and the London Eye River Cruise.
I have purchased a combination ticket through another attraction, can I book a time online?
Currently we are only able to exchange your voucher for a timed entry ticket in person in our box office. We would advise visiting us here at Shrek’s Adventure! London as early as possible to secure a desired time slot. If there are none available on that day, then our team will endeavour to book you into another desirable timeslot on another day. Remember, you have 90 days to use your ticket!
Can I collect my order earlier than my chosen date and time?
You can collect your order prior to your visit day if this is convenient. Please remember however that your Shrek’s Adventure! London ticket is only valid for the date and time you selected. All your other vouchers will have a date on them; you can exchange these at the correct attraction at any point from this date.
I have purchased Big Bus tickets, how do they work?
Your Big Bus tickets will be valid from the date in which you have chosen to visit us here at Shrek’s Adventure! London. You will collect your Big Bus vouchers when collecting your tickets, and can then take them to any Big Bus stop to exchange them for your tickets. Our team will happily advise you of the closest stop when collecting your tickets.
How long will my visit last?
Tours consist of groups of a maximum of 40 people and last approximately 1 hour and 15 fairy-tale minutes. There is an interactive area at the end of the tour where you can meet your favourite friends from other DreamWorks worlds of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon; you may spend as long as you want practising your martial arts skills with Mr Shifu, testing your strength with Gloria the hippo and hopping aboard a plane with those crazy penguins. The time on your ticket is the time you are allowed to enter the building and queue. Queue times differ depending on attendance levels and can go from 10-35 minutes. Guests waiting to purchase General Admission tickets on the day of your visit, be advised that the ticket office queue can reach up to 30 minutes.
