DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE TO TAKE THE TOUR?
No, you do not need to book in advance. You simply show up to our dock ahead of a scheduled departure and show your ticket to our staff. They will get you on the next available departure. Our schedule changes based on the season, so click here to see when the tour departs. We do ask, however, for larger groups of 10 or more to contact us ahead of time to reserve a time. Please note, our vessels have a maximum capacity that is always adhered to. If the next departure is sold out, you may have to wait until the next departure after. But don’t worry! This does not happen too often, and we have departures leaving every 30 minutes through July and August.
WHAT ABOUT SMALL CHILDREN?
Children two and under are FREE. You do not need to purchase a ticket or pay for children two years old or younger.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
There is no onsite parking, however there are quite a few parking lots within walking distance of our location. Click here to see a map of parking lots near us.
WHEN CAN I TAKE THE TOUR?
Your voucher is valid for a one-time use, any day of the week. Your voucher expires at the end of our season on October 31st, of the calendar year.
IS THE TOUR NARRATED?
Yes! We think you’ll find we have the best tour guides around! Our tour guides are young, energetic, engaging, and the tour has a very interactive feel. It combines education with entertainment, and you will hear all about the city of Toronto, plus our unique perspective on Toronto’s waterfront and the Toronto Islands.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE TOUR IN BAD WEATHER?
It may happen that bad weather will alter our tour schedule or require us to shut down tours on a regularly scheduled day. Usually, there are only a handful of days throughout the year in which the tour must be shut down for this reason.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
All tickets purchased online are valid up until October 31st of the year of your purchase. If you are unable to use your ticket(s) due to a cancellation on the part of Toronto Harbour Tours Inc. such as bad weather, or other reasons, you will be entitled to a full refund, or given the option to reschedule for another date within the current year.
