Does the Studio Tour have wheelchair access?
The majority of the Studio Tour is suitable for wheelchairs but some areas can be difficult to navigate, including Diagon Alley’s cobbled street and the Great Hall’s slate floor. The Hogwarts bridge can only be accessed via a short staircase and alternative access cannot be provided because the bridge, as an original set piece, has an uneven surface which is unsuitable for wheelchair users. Do you have disabled parking bays?
We have designated disabled parking bays in our free on-site car park. Just ask a member of our Car Parking Team for assistance on arrival.
Is the Forbidden Forest wheelchair accessible?
The Forbidden Forest is suitable for wheelchair users but some areas can be difficult to navigate due to the uneven surface.
Do you offer career tickets?
One free carer ticket can be provided for each paying disabled visitor. Please note that as children aged 4 and under are entitled to free entry, a carer ticket will not be added in this instance. You can collect a carer ticket from the Ticket Window on the day of your visit with a valid Studio Tour ticket and proof of entitlement. Carers must provide assistance to the visitor and proof of entitlement will be required on entry to the Studio Tour. We currently accept the following: Letter/notice of entitlement for Disability Living Allowance or PIP Letter from your doctor Blue parking badge or Freedom Pass DID card or Access card If you have any questions regarding proof of entitlement please contact our Visitor Services team before your visit.
Do you offer British Sign Language (BSL) tours?
In order to assist our visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing, we provide British Sign Language tours at no extra cost. The interpreter will remain onsite for the duration of your visit and will meet you in the entrance foyer. BSL tours are available subject to the availability of an interpreter and must be booked at least 14 days in advance. Due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19, we can’t guarantee that we will be able to accommodate BSL/ADT tours at this time. Are any special effects such as strobe lighting used in the Forbidden Forest?
Smoke machines and occasional strobe lighting effects will be used inside the Forbidden Forest. If you would like to avoid this, please ask one of our Interactors to show you an alternative route during your visit.
Do your accessible toilets have hoist facilities?
In addition to the accessible toilets located throughout the Studio Tour, visitors can also use our Accessible Plus facility. This fully accessible space provides a hoist, height adjustable changing bench, shower facilities, toilet and washbasin. The room is large enough to accommodate a wheelchair user and two carers. Please note, we kindly request that visitors bring their own slings to use with the hoist, as these are not provided. If you require the use of this space during your visit, please speak to an available member of staff who will be able to assist you with accessing the area. Staff are available at the Information Desk on arrival in the lobby and throughout the Tour. For more information regarding this or any of our other accessible facilities, please contact our Visitor Services team.
Can I bring a guide dog to the Tour?
We welcome all registered guide dogs, hearing dogs and medical alert dogs into the Studio Tour. If you wish to bring an assistance dog with you for your visit, please ensure you have formal identification for the dog with you such as any relevant documentation or a jacket. If your dog requires a water bowl, please ask a member of staff who will be happy to provide one. We do not allow other dogs or pets to enter the attraction and they cannot be left in vehicles for safety reasons. The nature of the attraction means that visitors cannot return to the car park until the end of their visit.
What credit and debit cards do you take as payment?
We accept Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard and American Express.
Can I pay by cheque?
We are happy to accept cheques from registered charities, county councils and schools within the UK. To make a booking and arrange cheque payment please contact our Visitor Services team.
Do you accept foreign currency at the Studio Tour?
No, we only accept pound sterling.

Yes, we have a cash machine in our lobby which offers free cash withdrawals.
Is the Studio Tour ever closed?
The Studio Tour is occasionally closed for general maintenance or to redress the sets for special events. Please check our opening times calendar before booking transport and/or hotels for your visit.
