Skyline University College (SUC) is a university located at the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, on the border of Sharjah and Dubai. The SUC is accredited, and its plans are approved by the Education Authorization Commission (CAA) of the Department of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), in the United Arab Emirates. The college is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, [citation needed] and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. The SUC was established in September 1990 in Sharjah under the leadership of its ruler Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, a member of the UAE Supreme Council. It runs a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration program, with major skills in Travel & Tourism Management, Information Systems, International Business, Finance, and Marketing. SUC also runs a two-year Master of Business Administration program with a focus on Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management & Strategic Management & Leadership; and short courses in IATA, CTH, GCAA & ACCA. Programs from autumn 2006 onwards are approved and approved by the Department of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAE.

Skyline University College (SUC) was founded in 1990 in Sharjah, a city recognized as a place of education, culture and heritage by UNESCO. SUC was established under the leadership of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, a member of the UAE Supreme Council and the Governor of Sharjah. UHH Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi has always supported the SUC in its quest to provide quality education. SUC believes in a new and effective response to training staff and meeting the educational needs of industries such as Aviation, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, Information Technology & Systems, Marketing, Business Management and finance sectors and, currently, one of the leading North Emirates universities.
SUC offers a variety of business and information technology programs through their School of Business & School of Information Technology fully approved and approved by the Department of Education (MOE), UAE. Under the School of Business, it offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management & Psychology, Accounting and Finance, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Tourism and Hospitality Management, International Business, Information Systems, Marketing & Retail Management, and Public Administration. Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs are offered, with a focus on Strategic Management & Leadership, E-Governance, Strategic Human Resource Management, Project Management, Finance, Sustainable Development, International Business & Marketing. Under its Information Technology school, it offers a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology – Enterprise Computing program. Continuing the process, SUC looks forward to meeting the future needs of the industry where necessary. SUC earned a 4-star QS rating with 5-star ratings in Teaching and 4 stars in Academic Development.
The SUC campus is still spread over more than 40 hectares of land at the University of Sharjah. SUC is a well-functioning university that caters to its diverse needs of students by equipping them to meet the needs of the new staff. ISUC also prepares its students to face the challenges of the new century by gaining relevant knowledge, skills, and values. ISUC has made a name for itself in academic circles as a provider of business education at affordable prices. In our efforts to improve the quality of our programs, regular examinations are conducted by education boards.
IT services are developed and integrated to support effective teaching in the classroom and in research work so that the required learning outcomes are met. To bring about quality education, SUC has included full-time faculty members from diverse Ph.D. graduates and has external expertise to teach students from multicultural backgrounds. SUC also provides additional learning opportunities and resources through a well-equipped library, computer lab, business lab, and case study center. In addition, SUC empowers students to learn a variety of careers that give them the opportunity to apply their knowledge, skills, and abilities by planning and co-curricular and other academic events.
SUC has a well-developed student care package, teaching methodology and feedback that helps students improve their performance levels on an ongoing basis. First, SUC assures all of its international students who have been trained by Freshman to be aware of SUC’s learning environment and cultural environment in the UAE through the Student Care Package that cater for New International students (Closing Program) and students with SUC (Student Tutorial) courses. The mentoring program aims to guide individual students at their academic and technical level. The continuous student response system adopted by SUC helps to understand needs and make better use of them during college life. SUC also has a Corporate Affairs Office (CAO) that engages in the industry to share their knowledge with students through guest talks, industry visits and CEO talks. CAO assists students in their study and placement.
ISUC prides itself on making it easier for students to provide them with the skills, values and skills needed to suit the needs of the industry. In this regard, SUC runs a Technical Skills Development Program at all levels ranging from Freshman to higher levels to hone students’ skills in communication, analysis and leadership. The PSDP has also been strengthened by the activities of the Toastmasters club to strengthen communication and leadership skills. The technical skills development program focuses on building soft skills that are essential for students to develop learning pathways in order to keep the student performing a complete learning process. SUC has a teaching committee that focuses on improving teaching and learning and a community services committee that provides opportunities to help the community with its various activities. The SUC has a research committee that simplifies research activities among intellectuals, enabling them to use their research knowledge to teach in classrooms and develop a research culture in the institution.
Accreditation
The institute has specific agreements with various colleges/universities in Canada, the UK, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, and Pakistan, making it easier for students to exchange opportunities for further study. SUC also maintains professional relationships with IATA-UFTAA, General Civil Aviation Authority, Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH), Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and World Tourism Organization (WTO), City & Guilds, CES.
