Laguna Water Park

5.0 (1 review)

Kids Water park

Dubai’s latest retail and leisure attractions La Mer , just got more interesting with the opening of a beachfront waterpark called the Laguna Water Park. It has opened right in time for summer, so all of you looking to beat the heat can now head to this 4 zoned waterpark brimming with half a dozen flumes, slides and a whole lot of wet fun. Not to forget, the infinity pool and the Middle East’s first ever 180-degree surf park!

Moreover, Laguna Water Park isn’t your run of the mill water park with just rides galore. There’s plenty to dine and shop right on the fringes of this beachside development. Make sure you make no second plans after Laguna Water Park because you will surely while away a good few hours window shopping and beachside chilling.

Surf Zone

WaveOz 180

The Surf Zone at Laguna Water Park houses the WaveOz also known as the The Ultimate Surf Machine, one of the only three 180 degree surf simulator! All those fretting about not being able to catch waves in the Dubai waters can now head here for a 187-feet wall-to-wall wave fun. This experience is very much suited to beginners so you don’t have to be The Duke to get on the sea facing WaveOz.

Splash Zone

Aqua Play

This area caters to children aged 4-12 (below 110cms) and allows fun unlimited in a massive play structure with looping slides and tipping buckets. You can leave your kids unattended here as the lifeguards on duty will have an eye on them.

Splash Pad

This area draws the tiny toddlers with fun interactive elements, splash pools, squirting waters and a whole lot of wet fun that allow them to widen their imagination while having fun. Like they say, no better entertainment than edutainment.

Slides Zone

Free Fall

This one’s for all the adrenaline junkies out there. An enclosed glass capsule will drop you with no warning , unleashing you into a heart racing downward plunge towards the splashdown below.

The Manta

Sharing a 4 or 6 people circular raft , you get to experience serpentine flumes and thrillings 90 degree oscillations with rapids, twists and turns before rolling into the massive manta wing and experiencing an exhilarating few seconds of zero-gravity.

Constrictor

If you’re afraid of the dark, we’d suggest you skip this one. Coiling tight corners, high banking turns and surprising optical illusions , the Constrictor will send chills down your spine! The slithering twists are not it here because the cavernous bowl where centrifugal forces keep riders high on the wall for several rotations is the true highlight of this ride.

The Loop

The AquaLaunch capsule of the Loop ride will quite literally loop you down a translucent tube until you reach the splashdown. Though it sounds just about ordinary, the 360-degree horizontal loop will give you enough scares for a lifetime. This one’s a crowd favourite, so watch out for long queues.

Mad Racer

No Water Park is complete without the competitive slides and Mad Racer is Laguna Water Park’s version. Interspersed with gut wrenching bumps and accelerators, the multi -lane mad racer is the perfect ride to go on a head to head race with your buddies.

Relax Zone

Lazy River

Those who are not up for white knuckle adventure can while away a lot of time on this relaxing lazy oasis. Hop on a tube and let the river takes its course to the end. Be warned, you may not be able to stay dry on this lazy river as the overhead showers and sudden rapids may spice up your lazy times.

The Pool

This temperature controlled infinity edge pool will surely steal your heart and have you lounging in it for hours, but try and make an effort to pop out and try all the rides! We know it can be hard when you have such a beautiful pool with F&B and Sheesha at your disposal, but we say try stepping out. Note, this pool is accessible to those above 18 only.

Cabanas

Grab a beach read and retire to the cosy cabanas for some downtime respite from the balmy sun. Each cabana comes with 4 luxury sun loungers, beach towels, private locker and complimentary water bottles/soda. Luxury beach time doesn’t get better right?

Beach

Like the rest of the La Mer stretch, this beach too has a swooning charm to it that will have you wandering its length for hours together. From Laguna Water Park, you can access the North Beach La Mer and perhaps watch the sun set!

Wonderful experience here! This waterpark is full of exciting rides for kids and adults alike. However, they only have one restaurant where there are very basic dishes which I do not recommend. Other than that, it was worth every penny! Really nice place, I had a great time, and had lots of fun. Great place to take the children, they won't want to leave. Absolutely perfect water park.
