About
Directing towards Khorfakkan on Fujairrah – The Khorfakkan highway opens the vista of the beautiful Al R wonderh Dam. Built in the early 1980’s, the dam has been upgraded with a new guest center and lounge. Travel time from Sharjah to Khorfakkan has been reduced to 45 minutes, thanks to a new highway, which allows many tourists to enjoy some of the scenery where a large, clear lake and boating can be overlooked by the magnificent Hajar mountains. The scenery is unparalleled in the vastness of the sand dunes that approach the pristine azure lake with a well-organized quiet seaside and waterfall, ideal for nature lovers and outdoor lovers.
There is a lounge, mosque, outdoor play areas for children, a parking lot and a supermarket, and a popular restaurant with a view of the lake. Part of the reconstruction has restored the Wadi Shea Fortress located near the old surrounding fields. A mile-long trek, surrounded by palm trees, encircled the dam, circled the edge of the mountain, through fields, and into the castle. There is also a mosque, a children’s play area, a small supermarket, ice cream, and a cafe with an indoor and outdoor living area. Great place for a winter picnic. Although there is ample parking space it is advisable to arrive before 12 noon (weekends) to find a place near the attraction.
Journey
A great place to spend time with your family and friends. You can enjoy the natural scenery of the mountains and pass through many tunnels along the way. The tunnels run through the mountains and one of them extends over a mile [2 km]. Kayaking and boating activities are available at the dam. Other wildlife can also be seen. Parking is very limited at the moment but I believe they are still working on that, some construction work is still going on. Many of us were parked on either side of the road in a yellow line. Very nice and clean place. Nice place.
There are playgrounds, a restaurant and a mosque. Everywhere the benches can sit and relax while admiring nature. It is best to go there on weekdays. They don’t see much in the dam area but they have a boating boat, boating, kayaking etc. A grocery store and tea shop are located near the car park. The area is surrounded by majestic mountains and driving through these mountains is a reality. Also, about five long lines will give you a WOW effect. Nicest Dam along the hill and highway, a great place to visit with friends and family member. Great kayaking spot, especially in the evening. A dam, pond and garden are a great combination of nature.
Countless Beauty
This place is a clip of great beauty. sometimes the gemstones are really hidden, and sometimes they are hidden from sight, and so is Al Rafish Dam – a fascinating and amazing place from a hiking trail, far away from the spread of mydubai city and unseen by even the most experienced and aspiring explorers, the oasis itself on the east coast of Khorfakkan groping on the western side of the hajjar mountains bordering Oman, we are on our way to the unexpected stop of our journey through the great outskirts of our home, which covers many miles of the dense Sharjah – Khorfakkan highway through the rugged terrain high paved in the middle of dry mountain walls, quickly mind-boggling, living character of the famous award-winning author Angela N. Blount; “Sometimes the best roads in life are the paths you have never traveled.”
and truth be told, this is not an exaggeration to say, I have done nothing a little before going, and I remember just grinding the trail thinking it would be nice to escape the weekend in the confusion of the process of the free-flowing zig-zag curve in and out of the five tunnels set in the mountains, awakening our songs our favorite playlists, with our little one, spend countless hours in endless conversations and laughter, focus on us and enjoy face time all the time of the day we have spent so well together, and our joy knows no bounds when the scenery suddenly changes as we walk the other side into the fifth corridor and that What we saw was not what we had expected so little – the size and complexity of the dam suddenly appeared, that at first glance you could take your breath away and the fire confirmation indicates to you that you are outstanding behind the wheel.
and if you wish to take things to the next level of peace and tranquility and add more to your life, combine this reincarnation with the cool and sleepy future of kayaking, which is a rental, giving you one chance to get a spectacular view of the dam while walking through its labyrinth, where you can have the good fortune to meet near mountain deer, and more ducks.
