Also known as Madhab Spring Sulpheric Park Fujairah and Ain Al Madhab Gardens, this tourist name is named after the hot springs of Fujairah flowing into its swimming pools. You can add a nice feeling to the park by going to the nearby Heritage Village.
LOCATION:
Located between Musandam and Muscat, Fujairah is located in the eastern part of the UAE. On the one hand, it enjoys warm water and the varied marine life of the Gulf of Oman and, on the other hand, is surrounded by the Hajar mountains. Madhab Spring Park is located at the foot of the Hajar Mountains on Al Ittihad Street in Dibba. One can easily get to the park by car or taxi. Those from Dubai can take an hour-long bus to Fujairah (E700) from Union Square Bus Station in Deira. Tickets for each person are $6.81 (AED 25) and you can reach Fujairah in about three hours. When driving, use Sharjah-Kalba Road (E102) and exit Exit 47 to enter Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road (E84) which leads directly to Fujairah. Just a few hour’s drive from Dubai and you get to the area, offering a beautiful view of the Hajar mountain range among other things. HAVE A PICNIC:
With grass and trees spread over an area of 39,000 square meters, Madhab Sulpheric Spring Park is undoubtedly one of the greenest parks in Fujairah. In addition, a modern irrigation network is installed to conserve vegetation in the park. That’s why it’s also a great place to plan a picnic with lots of shaded areas. In fact, many families visit the park for lunch. With this, Madhab Spring Park offers a beautiful resting place on the long trek of Fujairah.
ENJOY THE BBQ
Going forward, the park also has barbecue areas. As the temperature drops, having a barbecue in the park can be fun. Just make sure you clean yourself up as the area has a strict waste disposal policy, especially after the park has been extensively renovated in 2016.
SWIMMING:
One of the attractions of the park is the swimming pool. There are three different men’s, women’s and children’s swimming pools. There are separate changing rooms as well. Madhab Park Fujairah swimming pools have been renovated over the past few years and are well maintained. A water source, eg a mineral source is next to a park that enters the swimming pool. Visitors, however, cannot access the past; only pools.
PLAY BADMINTON:
Fitness enthusiasts can also flex their muscles in the park. There are dedicated ways of running and cycling in Madhab Spring Park, as well as a badminton court. In addition, there is a playground for children.
LIVE MUSIC:
Along with the entertainment and dance venues, Madhab Spring Park also has its own outdoor theater that often hosts song and dance festivals. The highlight of Gugu Village is an image of local farmers using the Al Yazrah irrigation system.
FUJAIRAH FORT
Just six minutes from Madhab Sulpheric Spring Park, Fujairah Fort is located on a high hill in the ruins of the old town. The fort was founded in the 16th century and was rebuilt in the 18th century after the British invasion.
