Located off the coast of Fujairah within 2 hours from Dubai, Snoopy Island is a rocky outcrop located 100 meters from the Sandy Beach Hotel in Al Aqah. The crystal clear waters and breathtaking coral reefs are just some of the reasons why the island is such a popular hangout for divers and seafarers. STAY IN SANDY BEACH RESORT:
The best way to experience the island in all its glory is to stay at the Sandy Beach Hotel and Resort. While there are many other hotels near Snoopy Island Fujairah, this one should be used especially. DIVING:
From spectacular shipwrecks to beautiful coral reefs and an abundance of marine life, the immersion in the waters around Snoopy Island is truly worth remembering. The water is warm all year round and provides suitable decomposition conditions. The Sandy Beach Dive Center offers a variety of services and gears that are both professional and emerging. Newbies are trained by a professional and certified team of PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) ranging from those who focus on PADI Open Water Scuba Diving to PADI Master Instructors. Depending on personal needs, customers can also take diving lessons, continue their underwater education or enjoy a one-time recreational water trip near the island.
SHORE DIVE:
This service provides visitors with a better way to explore the waters around Snoopy Island. The island itself is located in a national secure marine park. In other words, fishing is not allowed there. As a result, marine life thrives. Finish with diving gears, the usual diving starts with a stand from the shore. After that, customers are taken 2 to 7 meters off the coast near the island. Before boarding the boat – which focuses on the northwest part of the island – customers are first given details of where to find the various types of water during the dive.
From green tortoises to large pieces of mackerel, colorful coral reefs and coral sharks, the water here is teeming with all kinds of marine animals in various parts of the island. For example, take a 4m to a 5m dive on the northwest corner of the island and you will encounter a local electric ray looking under the sand near the anchor line. Swim further while keeping the rocks to your left, and you can see moray eels, Arabian boxfish, parrotfish, butterflyfish, Sergeant Major, Snapper, Angelfish, and more. To raise the ante, go diving at night and you may just come across a red octopus that is not visible in this area. The 3m east dive will take you to the Brain Coral collections. Plan your dive in the afternoon, and you can see a tortoise or two resting under the base. At the end of the dive, take a shower, sit down and enjoy a cup of hot coffee or tea. Services in the Dive Center are subject to availability. A diving guide, or a second dive on the same day, costs an additional $13.61 (AED 50). Customers can bring their equipment. If not, the service provides them, for a certain fee.
KAYAKING AND SNORKELING:
Is the collapse too much for you? Go to the Beach Hut outside the resort and hire some ski gear. It is the cheapest and cheapest way to get closer to the underwater species without going too deep. Want to get closer to rocks without getting wet? Depending on your preferences, you can rent a kayak, paddleboard, or ZeaSled.
WATER GAMES:
